A scream raced through the air of Pewter City. Lights flashed on and sirens wailed. People woke up, worried about what happened. A woman waved to the cop cars, screaming:

"My husband's dead! He's been shot!"

Blue groaned as there was a pounding on his door.

"What?!" He stumbled out of bed and went down and opened the door. Green, Crystal, Gold and Yellow were practically dead on his doorstep. He immediately stiffened and rubbed his eyes. "What happened?"

"There's been a murder in Pewter City." Green said, softly. Her breathing kept slowing down.

"Slow down. A murder?" Blue turned to Yellow, who had calmed down.

"A man was shot in Pewter City. No one knows who killed him. The only person in the house was the dead man. His wife came in after he was killed. The police can't figure out how the shot was taken. Bullet to the head. It was still in there when the body was found. No one has any leads." Blue paused.

"There's only one criminal criminal that can pull that off. Where's Red? He could help."

"We would have to go to him. He stuck in bed with an upset stomach." Green murmured.

"Alright. You guys rest. I'll be back.

Blue went to Red's house. He knocked. It was opened by Vee.

"Hey Vee. Where's Red?" Pika went over and nodded, indicating that he had to follow it. He followed it to a small door in the living room. Inside was a tower-like room with a ladder. Pika led him up two ladders before they emerged into Red's room.

There was a small desk under the bed as well as a small chest underneath, a stool, a closet/dresser, a coat hanger, a trashcan, some shelves, and a mat with shoes on it

There was a small desk under the bed as well as a small chest underneath, a stool, a closet/dresser, a coat hanger, a trashcan, some shelves, and a mat with shoes on it. There were wooden boards on the windows, making it dark. The lightbulb looked burnt out from a distance. Blue glanced around.

"Red?" Something shuffled around on the bed.

"Hm?" Red sat up and grabbed his head. His face was red, probably from the stomachache and from sleeping too much. He rubbed his eyes.

"Morning Red. I didn't think that the champion of Kanto could look so dead." Red didn't answer as he laid his head down. "Is it alright to come up or not?"

"Grab the trashcan and stick to the end of the bed. You'll be fine." Red's voice was faint and weak. Blue picked up the trashcan and climbed up the ladder to his bed.

"What happened?" Red took the trashcan and leaned his head in.

"What do you mean by that?"

"With this..." He gestured to the trashcan. Red whimpered quietly.

"Emerald came with cookies yesterday and obviously forgot that I can't handle them."

"Ok... I was going to see if you'd help us with a murder in Pewter City. But..." Blue sighed. "Rest up." He then hopped down and left. Red watched him leave before pulling out his phone.

"Aced it. Now to find the rest of that group and take them out." He said as he pulled out a gun.

"When do we start?"

"When do we start?"

"As soon as we get the locations." He aimed the gun at the ladder and fired. Downstairs, it hit a practice target in the direct middle. He smiled. "Thanks for the help of getting away from the others, Emerald."

"Of course. Anything for a partner."
