Parker's POV:
The dinner was amazing, but Hunter didn't seem very hungry. He didn't eat much and I got concerned. We went back up to Hunter's room. When we got there, Hunter silently went back to his bad and laid down, staring at his ceiling.

"Hey, Hunter, are-are you ok?" I asked softly.

"Y-y-yeah." He said, his voice breaking.

I moved over to sit next to him on his bed, and placed my hand on his. It was small and cold, unlike mine which were big and warm. "C'mon. I've known you since we were 7. I think I'd know when something's wrong with my best friend. But how about we change into pajamas and watch a movie in here together, yeah?" I smiled a little and looked into his beautiful chocolate eyes. He looked over at me sitting above him and gave me the smallest fake smile I've ever seen.

"Ok. Can we watch one together in my bed? I like the warmth." He turned a small shade of pink.

"Of course." I smiled goofily down at him. Once we changed clothes, we sat on the bed and looked through the movies.

"Can we watch a scary movie?" He mumbled softly and gave me a genuine smile.

"Whatever you would like." I said, ruffling the fluffy mess of hair on Hunter's head.

We picked a scary movie and I laid down next to Hunter, mere inches apart. He seemed to get embarrassed at this and blushed hard. Throughout the movie, Hunter got scared by all of the jump scares and ended up laying directly next to me, sides, shoulders, and hips touching. By the end of the movie, he was holding on tight to my hand.

I chuckled. "It's just a movie. Don't be so scared."

"Hey! It was a really SCARY scary movie!" He said looking into my eyes, his chocolate ones boring into my soul. But in a good way. A way that says, "I know you and you know me." But also in a way that made him seem so small and innocent. When he realised that we were practically on top of each other while holding hands, he turned the color of a tomato.

Hunter yawned and checked the time. 11:43 pm. "Hey Parker can we go to bed now? You can sleep on the floor."

"Yeah sure." I said, releasing the smaller boys hand and getting up. I turned off the lights and laid down.

"Hey Parker? C-ca-can y-you ma-maybe slee-sleep up here with m-me tonight?" I heard him stutter over his words with a shaking voice.

"Of course. Movie scare you too much?" I chuckled a little.

"Y-yes. Please Parker!"

I grabbed my pillow and flopped onto his bed next to him. He always smelled nice, and his room and bed smelled like it too. The scent was familiar, but I couldn't quite figure it out. It seemed like a full size or a queen so it was plenty of room for us both. "G'night Hunter."

"Night Parker." He flipped to face me, but had his beautiful eyes closed. I stayed awake for the longest time just looking at him. He didn't know it. One day. I thought. One day.
