Sams POV:

Parker was freaking out about his feelings and I had no idea what to do. I didn't think that me telling Parker that I knew he loved Hunter would freak him out like this. He finally calmed down a little, and I was about to say something to Parker, but the heavy slam of a door caught our attention. I couldn't quite make out who it was, but Parker knew. He stood a little taller, and wiped away his tears, sniffling and wiping his nose. He took a shaky breath in and walked a little closer to the edge of the road. A younger woman, probably in her early 30's came running onwards the hospital, a small child the age who looked to be about 7 or 8 holding her hand, trying to keep up. The woman rushed over to Parker, dropping the small boy's hand in order to hug Parker. She had light brown hair, tied back into a short ponytail, wearing a nice blouse and slacks. She didn't look like Parker at all. The two pulled away, the woman keeping Parker at arms reach. She finally spoke.

"Parker, what happened? I was coming home with Noah from the convention, and I got a call from the hospital about Hunter. Is everything ok?" The woman looked surprisingly calm. I could see the fear and worry in her eyes, and I figured she was trying to remain calm so the young boy wouldn't be frightened.

Parker looked away, eyes focused on the ground. He sniffed back tears and took a shuddering breath, before speaking in a shaky tone, one that sounded as if he was about to cry. "He, I, n-no. I d-don't really kn-know. We went to a p-party, and I told him to be careful, b-but he started drinking any alcoholic thing in sight, and t-then I tried to bring him away from the pe-eople and into the fresh air to s-sober up cuz I didn't want him to get s-sick, but he refused to s-sit an said that th-ere was a ringing sound a-and then fell ba-ackwards off of the c-curb and hit his head! Th-hen he started falling a...asleep....but..." Parker started crying again and I took over explaining what happened to the woman. The young boy looked a little scared, but was also seeming to get quite bored standing outside of a hospital. I placed one of my hands on Parker's shoulders, trying to give him any comfort.

"According to what Parker told me happened, and what I saw, Hunter started drinking every alcoholic beverage he could find. My older brother decided it would be a 'fun idea' to have beer for the people at the party. Hunter got drunk, while me and Parker stayed sober. Parker tried to get Hunter to drink some water, but he grabbed vodka, and called it 'fun water' and Parker took it away from him. He didn't know what would happen to Hunter from the amount of alcohol in that amount of time, so Parker told me to keep my ringer on to tell me if something happened. Parker then led Hunter outside to the sidewalk in front of my house to get some air and sober up. According to what I was told, Hunter refused to sit down, claimed to hear a high pitched ringing sound, and fell backwards off of the curb. He hit his head and started trying to fall asleep, and Parker tried to keep him awake while he called me telling me to gather up our other friends and meet him here, because he needed to take Hunter to the hospital. I got our friends and drove to the hospital, where we saw Parker carrying Hunter in. When we got to the door, nurses had taken Hunter god knows where and kept bombarding Parker with questions. He had a panic attack claiming everything was his fault, so I brought him out here to calm him down. Then we saw you, and well, we're caught up now." he small boy seemed to perk up when I mentioned Hunter's name, while the woman's eyes had growing fear. Parker was sitting down, his hands in his face, sobbing silently.
