Sherlock stayed up the whole night composing and writing the words to his song for Alex. The part that he was playing on the violin represented her character, which was shy and mellow when you first got to know her but as time went on she would become more open and bouncy around you. The words were what he was pouring his heart and soul into. When morning finally came, Sherlock started playing the violin. Alex crept out of her room since it had been too long since she had heard him play it. He started singing in a deep, baritone voice. Alex knew that this was his way of trying to apologize and that he had probably been working all night, judging from the bags under his eyes. Sherlock walked up to her and managed to waltz her around the room. When he was finished singing and playing the song, he kissed Alex on the forehead.

"I'm sorry, Alex. Forgive me...again." He said.

"You better not do anything to piss me off." Alex warned.

"I'll try." Sherlock said.

"Of course I forgive you." Alex sighed. "I love you, you know."

"I love you too." Sherlock said. "I'm sorry if I mess up."

"It's all right." Alex said. "Everyone makes mistakes."

Later that day Lestrade, Mary, John, and Mrs. Hudson were in the flat just having a small get together. Molly was bringing her new boyfriend a little later. There was press outside because of Sherlock solving the terrorist case. Sherlock got a call from Mycroft and took it in the other room. Mycroft was trying to get Sherlock to get him out of seeing Les Mis.

"Sherlock, please, I beg of you." He said. "You can take over at the interval."

"Oh, I'm sorry, brother dear, but you made a promise." Sherlock said, smirking. "Nothing I can do to help."

"But you don't understand the pain of it!" Mycroft said. "The horror."

Sherlock hung up on him. Alex walked into the room with John. She smiled at her boyfriend, who smiled back at her.

"Come on. You'll have to go down, they want to story." John said.

"In a minute." Sherlock said.

Alex went and sat next to Mary on the couch again. Mary smiled at her almost-sister. Sherlock tossed Alex a can of Dr. Pepper. Alex caught it easily.

"I'm so happy for you both. Have you set a date?" Alex asked.

"We're thinking May." Mary said.

"Ah, a spring wedding." Mrs. Hudson said.

"Yeah." Mary nodded. "Well, once we've actually gotten engaged."

"Yeah." John said.

"We were interuppted last time." Mary said, looking at Sherlock. Sherlock smiled.

"I can't wait." Lestrade said.

"You will be there, Sherlock?" Mary said.

"Weddings, not really my thing." Sherlock said.

"Alex, you'll be the chief bridesmaid of course." Mary said.

"Absolutely not! You have better friends than me!" Alex said.

"No, I want you as my chief bridesmaid." Mary said.

"If you really want me to be, I guess I can manage it." Alex said.

Molly walked in the flat with a man. "Hello, everyone!"

"Hey!" Alex said.

"This is Tom." Molly said, gesturing to her boyfriend and fiance. "Tom this is everyone, including my best friend Alex."
