[11] - Inter-High Preliminaries

The Inter-High Preliminaries finally arrived,(M/n) groaned as he heard his alarm rung.It was finally the day.He sighed as he finally got up and was ready to go.He was still sleepy as ever,either from nerves or excitement he couldn't tell,he just wanted to get on the bus and catch up on sleep.He literally slept walk his whole way to the school.He got there and greeted everyone.They had a small practice before finally getting on the bus to get to the competition area.Suga smirked to himself,he was gonna get (M/n) to sit with him for the third time!As he was about to ask,someone beat him to it.

"Hey,(L/n) wanna sit with me,you're sleepy so you can sleep on my lap,"

Suga quickly turned to the voice before glaring at Karasuno's number 1 receiver and captain as Daichi gave (M/n) a smile while patting his lap.(M/n) half asleep yawned then nodded as he lazily sat next to Daichi and quickly laid down on his lap fast asleep.His members all glared at him as Daichi ignored since all he could focus on was the sleeping boy on his lap.He smiled as he slowly combed his hair as Suga was giving him death threats through his head.(M/n) slept peacefully not giving a care in the world.

Little did he know that he would return with a haunted past right beside him..

Soon they finally arrived,Daichi woke (M/n) up who had slight bed hair but after stretching finally woke up.Daichi felt warm and happiness around him as Suga was still glaring towards him.As they were walking,they over heard some players talking bad about Karasuno and soon the team stood behind them full glare.Tanaka tried to pick a fight but Daichi stopped him in time.The team quickly changed to their uniforms.(M/n) couldn't stay awake and noticed that he forgot to change his mask.So he told the others he was gonna go wash his face and do a quick change.As he arrived at the bathroom,he yawned as he walked in and accidentally bumped into a big figure.He stopped in his tracks as he looked up to see a large figure standing at 192 cm tall.He had white hair and a stern face.(M/n) quickly walked back and bowed to apologize.Soon another male with brown hair came up behind the male and took noticed of the masked male.

"Hmm?"

He hummed which caught (M/n)'s attention,(M/n) looked up and noticed the another male.He looked at the two confused until he noticed their uniforms which said "Date Tech".Which caused him to remember that was their second opponent.It seemed the two came into the same conclusion as well.The brown male asked.

"Huh...You're from Karasuno right?"

The brown haired male smiled slyly at the masked boy.(M/n) didn't know what to do,he simply nodded shyly as he tried to get past the two.The two seemed to be more intrigued into the male more.The brown haired male was quite curious as to why he wasn't talking.

"Who are you?I wanna know you're name,"

(M/n) stopped as he shyly turned around and with his trembling hands made a cross over his masked lips.Which help understood but he still persisted which (M/n) sighed,he got a post it note gave him his name.He seemed satisfied with a smile.

"I'm Kenji Futakuchi,this is Takanobu Aone,nice to meet you (L/n)~Get past the first round,cause I wanna play against you,I'll see how good you are myself~see ya!"

The male now named Futakuchi smiled with a wave and the other bowed,The shy boy slightly blushed and nodded with a bow.His face slightly flustered quite calmed down.Right now he had to focus.Get past the first and second game and then play Aoba Johsai,along with the final rounds then play in Inter-High.

He returned to the team finally time to practice before the match.(M/n) practiced with Hinata and Kageyama until a ball rolled near the bench and soon was greeted by a familiar voice.

"Yoohoo!(M/n)-Chan!Good luck today~Hopefully I get to see you play setter this tim-Ow!That hurt Iwa-Chan..."

There was Oikawa looking at him,(M/n) blushed slightly and gave a wave.Iwaizumi also smiled with a slight greeting.
