The team got past their first two rounds, next was the qualifiers which were in less than two months which were by the end of October. (M/n) was definitely gonna have a lot in for him for these next two months, he wouldn't know what hit him ..

Though they have gotten pass prelim, they sadly still have school for the next incoming days. It was just their first class of the day and Kageyama being Kageyama, he had already forgotten his homework and immediately had to go to (M/n) to ask for the answers in a panic and to almost beg (M/n) to let him copy and with a chuckle he kindly did. However with luck, both were spared as the two were survived another day full of boring classes.

-After School-

School had finally came to an end and the two were excited to get to practice, especially since they had two months worth of practice before qualifiers, Kageyama packed up his things and turned over to the masked male.

"Ready to go?"

(M/n), who had just finished packing his books turned back to the milk obsessed male with a hidden smile, nodding to say "yes". Though, his voice was slowly returning to him, he still hasn't grown comfortable to using around other people except for the team or close friends, so he decided that he wanted to keep his slight ability to speak again a secret until he was ready which the team all gladly respected and the same goes for Ukai and Takeda who both help kept his voice a secret until then. So just as the two were ready to leave and go to the club room to change, their homeroom teacher walked in looking around until her eyes landed on (M/n).

"Ah! (L/n)! Glad that you're still here, look there is something I need to ask you..."

The teacher stated which stopped both male's plans on leaving anytime soon. Kageyama stayed behind, knowing he wouldn't want leave (M/n) on his own and didn't want to leave (M/n) in general but that's beside the point. (M/n) eyed the teacher with an eyebrow raised, as the teacher gave a side glance towards the door to the classroom before turning back to the two males before her.

"Ah, you see, we just had a transfer student from England a couple days ago as you should know, his name is Arthur if I'm not wrong..uh do you mind if you can help him out a bit after school to show him around and be his guide..."

The two were slightly caught off guard by the sudden request, more importantly on why she was asking (M/n), of all people? Kageyama wasn't impressed, he wasn't quite sure of the teacher's reasonings behind this either and since they also had qualifiers coming up as well, it didn't sit well with him.

"Sensei?Ano.. why (M/n)?You know he can't talk and... we have a competition coming up..."

Kageyama questioned but also mostly cause he didn't want to leave (M/n) alone by himself but he's never gonna admit that. (M/n) was surprised and confused, side glancing Kageyama a worried look before turning back to the teacher and nodding, agreeing with Kageyama's question. He's a pretty shy person to begin with and not to mention mute so the situation for him wasn't quite ideal for someone who should be helping out a new student.

"Ah! I know, I'm very sorry to disrupt your upcoming practices and I know it'll be very troublesome with your current situation but we sadly couldn't find anyone else but it will only take a bit of time after school and this could also maybe help break you out of your shell a bit..."

The teacher desperately hoped and begged, Kageyama still wasn't quite satisfied with the answer, unable to find any reason behind it, he was almost ready to fight but (M/n) seemed to have thought it through already and knowing Kageyama, (M/n) quickly grabbed Kageyama's arm to catch his attention before he could say or do anything, this action causing him to stop whatever he was about to do and turn to the male that was stopping him with a questionable look. (M/n) simply looked at him with a hesitant look before shaking his head "no". Kageyama was a bit taken back by (M/n)'s answer.
