"We're counting on you setter!"

(M/n) took a moment to process before quickly turning to Suga in shock.What?what did he just say?Suga smiled at the boy's reaction.

"You heard me,you're playing setter!"

(M/n)'s eyes widen and soon everyone chimed in.

"We're counting on you,(M/n)!"

"Show them you're tosses!"

(M/n) was still in shock,no way..after years of being denied of playing as setter.He was finally being put in a match.(M/n) the feeling overwhelmed him ,he took a moment before he realised he soon felt droplets fall from his eyes.Suga turned back to him and was in shock he quickly went to the boy.

"Ah!(L/n)!Don't cry!"

Suga said which caught his attention as he quickly wiped his eyes with a chuckle.Suga smiled as he used thumb to wipe some tears away.(M/n) couldn't help it.He hasn't felt this happy in a long time,it's almost like a dream come true.Daichi smiled as he soon came up and ruffled up his hair.

"Let's show them the power of our other setter!"

(M/n) looked up with small tears still in his eyes and nodded with a determined look.Oikawa and Iwaizumi looked in shock before giving in a smile.They'll finally see the power of their precious friend.Kageyama watched at the sidelines as he remembered what Ukai and Suga has said.

Ukai: "Everyone I wanna discus something with you guys...as you know (M/n) is a powerful setter,so let's make sure to show them his strength as well!

Suga:"Leave it to (M/n)...He'll show them.."

He felt a light tingle of happiness inside of him,(M/n) was finally being shown the attention he deserved.With that the match continued.It first started off with Seijoh's serve.Daichi quickly received.(M/n) quickly set into position,he felt a tingling feeling in him,he hasn't felt like this in ages.He gave a small glance at the court before quickly setting to Tsukishima with that quick toss the spike was hit full force,even shocking Tsuki himself.As the referee called the point.(M/n) sliently cheered with a pumped fist.He loved this feeling.As he was about to move on Suga and Noya came in and showered him with praises which couldn't have made him feel any better.He smiled this was the feeling he longed for.Even Tsuki as he turned back to the court he gave a glance to (M/n).

"Nice toss..."

This was what he played for.The team was able to score a bit with Suga's help and (M/n)'s sets but the point gap didn't differentiate much as by the end Seijoh won the first set.It was time they switch courts.(M/n) wondered if he was gonna get switched told him he was playing for more.He couldn't be more excited as he thanked their coach.The team smiled at the masked boy's blur of joy.Ukai smiled as well,he was proud and happy that he made the decision that he did as he remember when he remembered a certain duo came up to him with the idea.

Flashback

It was noraml practice,However that day he was approached by the captain and vice captain.

"We'd like to make a suggestion.."

Suga continued they both held a strong determined look.

"We want you to give (M/n) a chance at playing setter during a match in the preliminaries!"

Ukai was a bit taken back by the suggestion.He knew (M/n) was a strong player more so a setter but he hasn't seen him play often.
