The Cover for Werewolf Already In Seabrooke
Ok, so my first day at Seabrooke High and actually fully out the house starts today. My mothers Moonstone is tightly wrapped around my neck along with my dads. Seabrooke settlers killed them with a silver bullet each thirty years after they arrived. My mom and dad were on the rebellion against the settlers, I mean they invaded our territory! Then I lived low, about forty years ago, I was thrown out the pack because I believed we could live in harmony. Since then, I've lived as a human in Seabrooke. As long as I don't lose it I should be fine. The reason I've stayed hidden for forty years is because I couldn't control my wolf self, thankfully, I've taught myself.
Trying to calm down, I looked in the body mirror in my house. My hair curled near the bottom and I have a few purple and white streaks- just because I appear human does not mean I want to forget about my wolf self. I brought one of those blue dresses because pink definitely isn't my colour. It fit perfectly and complimented my peach skin along with my silver-blue eyes.
"I can't believe I'm doing this." I sighed to my reflection before exiting my front door. To get to the school quickly, I decided to run through the forbidden forest. Feeling nature surround me, the wind whiz passed my ears, birds muffled singing, leaves being thrown off the ground from my speed- I haven't done this in so long.
Suddenly, I hit something, it wasn't a tree, or a log... it was a person, wait, it was a Werewolf. He had dark brown hair but the tips were blonde. Dark jacket to match his dark eyes and trousers. His only bit of colour was the purple shirt under his jacket and the blue moonstone around his neck. He growled at me expecting me to be scared, but I wasn't for obvious reasons. When he noticed I wasn't his eyes wondered to my neck, he saw both moonstones. "Where did you get those?" He sternly demanded an answer and I was not about to give him one. He lunged for the moonstones but I quickly dodged out the way and carried on running.
Finally I reached the school and I let out a long, long needed breath. I wasn't tired, but it was the intensity from the interaction. Talking with a Werewolf I haven't done in over forty years, and he saw the moonstones. Hopefully I never see him again. "Hello! Are you new here?" A preppy girl asked me. Her hair flowed long white locks. She had perfect skin, perfect hair, perfect blue eyes, she looked like a typical I-get-everything-I-want girl.
"Erm yeah, it's my first day." I said back. I recognised her as the mayor's daughter, I shouldn't be rude to her.
"Oh well then welcome to SeaBrooke High! Love your hair by the way!" She exclaimed. Maybe this won't be so bad if I stick with her. "I'm sorry I didn't get a name." She asked me.
"Oh I'm Whitney, or Whit if you prefer. Aren't you Addison?" I questioned back.
"That's me! Do you want me to show you around?" I nodded in reply and then we walked inside. It was how I expected it to look. It was a stereotypical princess boarding school look. It was modern definitely, but it looked too planned out, too perfect. Eventually I might get used to it. "Morning Addison." This zombie said then hugged her- I'm guessing they're together. Wait... that zombie, oh it's Zed! He was in the newspaper a lot last year. "Who's your new friend?" Why is everyone so perky in the morning?
"I'm Whitney, nice to meet you." I said back then another zombie came over, she seemed cool and not like the other two thankfully."Hey Eliza, this is Whitney. She's new here." Addison introduced us. Eliza looked techsavy, she was carrying a laptop and she just had that look about her.
"Hey Whitney, are you interested in joining a Zombie rebellion to help save the powerplant?" She's definitely strong willed.
"Chill out Eliza, don't bombard her yet." Zed said before I could talk. I was actually interested, I'm assuming it's because the power plant is an important part of Zombie heritage."Actually Eliza, I would love to. The powerplant is a very important part of Zombie heritage. How would Seabrooke feel if we destroyed their most historic building?" I said back with a smirk. Zed looked at me shocked but Addison and Eliza both sent smiles my way.
"Thank you Whitney! See it is important to some people Zed!" She exclaimed then walked off.A few seconds later, a boy and three sidekicks walked to us. Every one of them were in a cheerleaders uniform but the three sheep trailed behind the main guy. "Hey cuz, who's the new..." he stared at my hair wondering what species I was, "Human or Zombie?" He asked in my direction.
"Why does it matter?" I asked back and his look was amazing, "If I'm correct, Zombies win every football game for you and that means you get a cheerleading building eventhough you didn't have to work for it." He gasped but the other three looked sternly at me."Who are the three sheep?" I whispered to Zed.
"Stacey, Lacey, and Jacey." He pointed to each individually, "or the Acey's."
"Oh so basically you're telling me they're sidekicks and are basically too afraid to have their own mind." I loudly said so the Acey's could hear.
"What did you say about the Acey's?" The main dude asked, I honestly don't even want to know his name."Oh I'm sure you heard, but to reiterate: they are sheep, sidekicks, lakies, and don't have a large enough brain to think for themself. They follow you, who ever you are, because I'm guessing you're the schools popular dude or the bully. You're probably both though." Maybe that was a bit far for my first day. The Acey's gasped and the main guy looked at me in horror. I'm not breaking eye contact with them to look at Zed and Addison but I know they have shocked expressions too. "Acey's! Let's go." He said then they started to walk away, "practice is off! The election debate is today!" He shouted back to Addison I'm guessing.
"Wow girl!" Zed congratulated me with a high five.
"I-I should go..." Addison nervously said before leaving to catch up with the Acey's.
"Did I do something wrong?" I asked. Maybe I did, she is a cheerleader and they are on the team.
"Don't worry about it, Buckey's Addison's cousin. She doesn't like the Acey's either." Zed said just before the first bell rang. "Where's your home room?"
"Erm..." I pulled out a crumpled sheet of paper from the jacket I threw on betor I left, "room C18."
"You're with me, come on!" He said walking with me to the room. The moment I entered the humans started to whisper. I get my hairs different but so is Addison's so why do they care? "Okay!" The teacher began, he was the coach of the football team, "welcome the new student Whitney." The coach announced. He seems like an ok teacher, but only time will tell.
The moment I took a seat by Zed, the coach decided it would be a good idea if he gets people to ask me questions so I open up. "Are you a cheerleader?" Someone said, she was on the opposite side of the room.
"Not my thing." I said shaking my head.
"Why not?" Another questioned. She was dark skinned, wore glasses and had even darker hair in a pony.
"The way I see Cheerleading, you wave pom poms about saying some words. Those tight uniforms that are short too just flaunts your body. It just makes people insecure and why would I support that?" Almost everyone in the room gasped at my answer. It's like everyone's been brainwashed or something.
"Oof, you don't want to say a bad word about cheer." Zed whispered to me, "Cheer was the schools top sport before football ruled the school. I'm not saying I don't agree, but you've just made a lot of enemies." Great, I thought. My first day and I'm probably public enemy number one.
