maybe it's not Addison

That was amazing! The energy, the joy, the enthusiasm, every good emotion I can think of and more flushed through me punching out the negative. It was highered past the point of heaven when I saw the smile on Wyatt. It hit me. Wyatt... God I was so awful to him!

"I am so sorry Wy..." I whispered in his ear hugging him the tightest I ever have and maybe ever will.
"It's ok Ulv, I know why you left. I would've done the same." He muffled in my shirt.
"No it's not! I left you... I don't... I can't-" the words kept getting caught in my throat. I didn't know what I wanted to say but it would've been along the lines of a billion sorry's. What I did was inexcusable. I was selfish to think I could just walk out for god knows how long and him to be ok. I was only thinking for myself so for him to say that it was fine, I just can't comprehend how it's ok.

"How did I know the song?" I questioned because it wasn't as if it was a general thing, it was especially designed.
"A beta or above has to be the one to convince a potential Great Alpha. It could also be someone who plays a significant role in either the receivers life or the person telling them." His and mine locked for the last part.
"I must really mean something to you then hey?" I joked and he shoved me before hugging me again.
"Oh no you're definitely important in Addison's life." Sarcasm was a good thing on Wyatt.

"NO!" I heard someone shout, we all turned to the back wall and saw Zed, Bonzo, Eliza and Brie. Only Zed wasn't there anymore. He ran to the section Addison was standing in throwing his wristband on the floor.

His viens pulsed blood red, his skin lightened to a thicker ash colour than a volcanic eruption, his eyes completely whitened like he was Frankenstein's monster himself... The wolves growled, hissed, were close to fully transforming.

"ZED!" I yelled getting his attention. He didn't know I was there until his eyes locked on me and his expression softened. Slowly, I moved to his band that he threw off while talking to him, "focus on my voice. I wouldn't let anything harm Addison when I'm around, you know that." Addison and I connected eyes and I tossed her the bracelet. His eyes still locked with mine in curiosity. "NOW!" Addison clipped it back on.

He calmed down but panted from the contrast. Imagine the power, the rage, the freedom driving through you. Then it stops.
You are driving way over the speed limit down an empty street, you don't look where you're going because it's just one straight line and nobody is there. You reached several zebra crossings and no one's waiting so you don't bother to look at the next one. When you do, you see people crossing and slam the breaks on. You go through the window because the belt couldn't hold you in, it snapped at the sheer force. That's what the contrast would be like.

"You're... you're a-a wolf?" Zed queried in shock. It wasn't as if I completely hid it for the past week with my clothing, but I never showed my moonstones either, or my wolf (intentionally) around others.
"Yeah... are we ok? Does this change anything?" I asked the three Zombies. I hadn't bothered giving Brie an ounce of my attention, she doesn't like me and I don't like her, that's our relationship.

"Yes Whitney, we are. You know you could've told us." The three embraced me in a hug. The Mate instincts kicked in for Wyatt when Zed and Eliza placed a hand on my back. It was wonderful to think I actually found my mate, I don't know if I should tell him or not though...
"It's a bit more complicated than that..." Our grasps let go and I backed into Wyatt to stop his growling under his breathe.

"I can't beleive it... how did I not..." Brie muffled hoping I wouldn't hear. Did she just forget about the fact I am a werewolf? Alas she can't  grasp that concept either.

Before anyone could say anything else, a loud, obnoxious, exploding noise shook the walls of The Den. It wasn't an earthquake but it might as well have been. Everyone rushed out to see where the commotion had come from.

We all looked over the horizon. If it wasn't the fact something potentially blew up, you could really appreciate the sight. It was amazing but also a bit weird seeing the difference split down the middle between Zombie Town and the rest of Seabrooke.

All eyes drew to the powerplant, the one Zombies were created from.
"What is that?" Willa finally said pointing to the powerplant. It hadn't been in use for years, it was rundown, rustic, archaic, but also apart of Zombie lineage.
"Seabrooke Powerplant. The place Zombies came from. It happened with a mix of lime soda and an unknown energy source."

Realisation hit me. An unknown source and it just so happened that the settlers built the power plant. The unknown source was not just Zombie lineage, it was also wolf.

"That's it." Both Addison and I declared, we started to talk perfectly in sync again, "that's the moonstone, the unknown energy source from the powerplant." We weren't looking at anyone in particular, but we were looking at the group in general.

"Are you sure?" Zed said flicking between us both.
"Seabrooke Settlers took the moonstone and they also built the powerplant but the ones who did never stated how they got the energy. Too much of a coincidence." I said in reply. I would've thought only The Great Alpha would have this observation, but here I am because I used my common sense and brain being able to figure it out.

At the time, I only noticed a few pairs of eyes on me, that's because every pair belonging to wolves kept switching between Addison and I. "Do you think?" Wyatt began. I'm not thick I know what he was going to ask.
"No, she doesn't look like her." Replied Willa.

"Addison." Said Willa drawing everyone's attention, "this moonstone belongs to The Great Alpha. It's the most powerful as nobody has ever wore it. We would like you to have it." She opened a blue, velvet box to reveal a moonstone as bright as a lightbulb, as vibrant as a summers sky, as powerful as the actual moonstone itself.

Despite the transformation, the guessing it was the powerplant, she didn't look like she wanted this. "Can I think about it?" What the hell! If it was me she cannot 'think about it's because my kind is dying, you hear that, dying, and she wants to think about it? "You have one day." She gave Addison the box that was holding the moonstone.

The Wolves went back into The Den just after I told Wyatt I'd meet him in there.
"What was this all about?" Asked Zed to Addison, he had a stern look and a very 'I jump to the wrong conclusions' vibe.
"It was me, not Addison. She and I ran into eachother and I thought it was the perfect opportunity to show her who she is." I explained and Addison smiled, I smiled back.
"Who is she then?" Eliza curiously quizzed.
"She is known as The Great Alpha. A prophesy the wolves have state that The Great Alpha will lead us to our moonstone so we can replenish the smaller ones so we don't die." The looks I got hopefully meant it was a good explanation because none of them spoke.

I said goodbye to them after more explanations and avoidance of certain questions to then go into The Den. "I thought you said you were leaving for good." He stated kissing me after.
"Fate brought me back. I ran into Addison and thought if she is The Great Alpha, I would be pardoned." I kissed him back after finishing.

"Are you staying, staying?" He asked me holding me at my forearms.
"I will never leave you again." I said. It broke me leaving the last time. Those emotions of finally seeing your mate, then it being taken away after is enough to break your soul, heart and every bone in your body. A mate can be anyone to a wolf, they could be Zombie, human or even alien if they exist.

I am never going to let go again.
