Random Rants 3: Now With Minecraft

I don't think anyone would believe me if I told them the playlist I'm (and have been for the past week or so) listening to has no musical songs in

I'll just have to prove it I suppose

I feel like Halsey is as mainstream as my music taste gets tbh

Also the first song in the playlist (Bad People) is so so good and it only came out just over a week ago and I've listened to it so darn much

Actually before now I had never seen the music video cause I've just been listening to it on Spotify

Also didn't know she had other music videos

I have another thing to mention

So I'm at a point where idk what I'm doing for Beating Hearts
So I'm gonna scrap what I've got so far and start again

But here's the issue

One of my problems is that there are lots of characters who are all important to the story

Like it's not like Ryota in Smile who I added to help flesh out the club

They are all characters who I have to go in-depth about and it's a lot for my brain to handle

Now I'm my original version (before I added magic to the story) there was a lack of characters like Lauren, Mark and shoot I forgot the other one's name

Oh wait

It's Jason

Yea he wasn't in it either

Instead there was Maxi, Chloe and Andrew (except they had different names and were called: Lyra, Olive and Michael)

Yea two of those names were likely in reference to something

Aka

Lyra is from his dark materials

And I really hope I don't have to say what Michael's from

But yea there were those three
And Jade
And that was it when it came to protagonists

There were four

Not seven

And four seemed a lot easier to handle

So

I'm thinking

like Lauren

She's my meme lord

She's my gremlin

She's my midget

So I might rewrite it with Maxi, Chloe, Andrew (maybe with name changes cause actually I rlly like the name Olive) and then Jade and Lauren as well

Feel a lil bad for Andrew (or whatever I end up naming him) cause he's the only guy
But whatever

One thing I'm definitely gonna do tho
Is get rid of the magic element

I was so insistent on having magic in it but it then felt like I had to do something with the magic more often than I actually did

Oh yea, that also means redesigns

I can do that tho

Fortunately (mainly for Anime_and_gaming_fan ) I don't plan on changing Jade at all

In fact
She's stayed the same in every version I've written of this
