Random Rants 3: Now With Minecraft

So i finished the book I was reading

At the start of yesterday
I was on page 200-ish

Today I reached the end

And yea okay maybe that doesn't sound all too impressive I mean that would've been easy for me if it were red queen or something

But no no no no no no no

This book

This freaking gigantic book
Was

687 pages long

Now I don't exactly remember the length of the Harry Potter books (or at least the copies I had of them) but I'm pretty sure the longest was 500-ish pages

And I though that was long

Then I read Lyra's Oxford which was a short 50-ish page long story
And I have some comments for that

All of them are about Malcom tho???
Which is a lil odd

I think this was written before book of dust and then Malcom was made important for Book of Dust but I'm just getting ahead of myself

^^ that was the first "oh damn it's Malcom"

^^ that was the second "oh damn it really is Malcom"

^^ and then that confirmed it for me because it's stated in book of dust that Malcom taught Lyra at some point

But on a more exciting note

(I spent 20 quid on this)

I bought a His Dark Materials graphic novel and I have literally zero regrets

it's so big and amazing and omg I'm so excited to read it

It'll probably be like how I read my mangas and I'll read it alongside a proper book

(Mainly bc Nimbus wants me to read a certain book series)

But it's just so cool

Oh damn

I was right

It smells good

(Sorry, new books always smell good)

Oooof I'm sitting a distance away and I'm still being attacked by the amazing smell of a new book
