It's dark outside. I was in the car with my parents. We were driving along a road in a forest. We just returned from some friends and dad, the driver, wasn't the most sober of drivers that night. My mom was out. She slept in the front passenger seat. We were driving calmly along the curving road.
"Had a fun party?" I heard my dad ask.
"It was alright. The little kids got a bit annoying at the end though. Did you know Jamie got a new laptop for her birthday? It looked awesome. She already bombarded it with pastels and stickers." I replied rather enthusiastic.
"sounds quite exciting." My dad slurred slightly in return.
I leaned back into my seat knowing it would take quite a while before we were home. I intended to sleep. I took a peek out the front window one last time. I closed my eyes and lay my head against the window.
That's when I felt it. A rush. The same rush you feel when you're in a roller coaster. I quickly looked outside and saw we were sliding. Our car drifted off the road. It drifted down a hill speeding up the further we went. When our car went completely sideways I lost my orientation. We started rolling. I didn't know what up or down was anymore. I didn't know how many times we rolled over. I heard my parents screaming. I stopped breathing for what felt like ages ago. We kept sliding and rolling while being thrown and smashed through the car itself. That's when everything changed.
Impact.
We hit something. I know we did cause we stopped. I felt we were no longer moving. I felt sick. the nausea overcame me and I threw up. That's when I realized we were laying on our side. I looked at my parents to see if they were okay. I didn't see my parents.
We hit a tree. Because we were on our side the tree smashed straight through the front window. Where once my parents heads were was now a tree...
A puddle of blood rapidly formed on the window. I could hear the drops of blood hitting the glass. I saw skin stuck to the trunk of the tree.
I felt tears coming up. My breath started to speed up and I felt my heart beat in my neck and head. I frantically started trying to undo my seat belt. I want to get out of here. I can smell their blood!
I knew I was panicking but I couldn't stop myself. I kept trying to free myself but I couldn't take off my seat belt. I'm stuck. The more I wiggled and squirmed to get out of my seat the sicker I felt. I kept trying until I threw up again. I started hyperventilating. My head became light and my limbs became weak. White blobs started forming in my vision. I kept breathing heavily. I couldn't stop. I breathed so fast it started hurting in my chest. It took a few more seconds till I passed out.

I woke up to the car shaking. When I opened my eyes it was lighter outside than it was when I passed out. The car kept shaking. Someone was moving on the car. Someone had climbed on top of it.
I looked to the side, up into the sky. Instead I stared straight into the eyes of a boy.
He wore a grim hoodie, a striped face mask and yellow goggles. It made him look quite creepy. My breath hitched when I looked at him. My heart started rushing again. Something about him made me feel off.
I pressed myself into my seat when he started to climb into the car. I looked around me for an escape but all I saw was blood splatters and splinters of skull belonging to my parents. I gulped holding firmly to my seat, my knuckles white from my tight grip.
The boy climbed next to me and unbuckled my seat belt. I sat stiff in my seat, scared of the stranger. He looked at me and flinched. More like twitched. He grabbed my arm and slowly pulled me up and out of the car.
I wanted to scream. I was terrified of this boy. I wanted to yell for help but I couldn't make a sound. I tried to but all that came out was wheezing of my airway.
He quickly checked me before picking me up. I looked over at the car wreck. I saw the headless bodies of my parents. I saw the puddles of blood. I saw the bone fragments. I saw the memories.
I started to weep softly. I couldn't stop the tears. I didn't have my parents anymore. They are gone forever. All the times I crawled in their bed because I was scared are over. Every time I felt sad or stressed they'd help me out. They'd help me with my homework. They helped me make it to where I am now. But I'm left without them. The boy kept walking. He carried me away. I would no longer see them. This was my life, gone in the blink of an eye. I don't know where I'm going. I don't know who is going to join me. I'm left in a void. I can't see. I can't breathe. I felt the tears streaming harder and harder. My muscles grew weak of the stress.
I looked up at this boy. He was looking at me. I couldn't read his facial expression. It seemed genuine. He said something I couldn't hear but he looked calm. His presence was calming. He twitched. That's when everything went black. I passed out.

A/N: This was great fun writing! I'm not that much of an experienced writer so forgive me if some parts are off. I'm trying my best to keep it fun and immersed. I currently have 8 more chapters lined out and I'm planning to add more. My exams are coming up so I don't know when I'll update again but I'll try to get another chapter out next week.
Happy reading and see you next time! ^-^
