34) Aftermath

A/N: Hey Guys!
So I just wanted to say that yesterday I was in the Hospital all day, I had a procedure done and was bed bound for 6 hours! I was extremely bored and exhausted from the procedure and wasn't allowed my phone :(. I am now under recovery for a whole week and I'm not allowed to do anything! Not like I could cough Corona, but I will spend this time in recovery to finally continue writing! That being said, I hope that you all enjoy this chapter!

It was the next morning. Just as promised, the police had arrived at the house. Everyone, except for Dad (N), Yoongi and myself were sitting on the couch in the living room, while everyone else were upstairs and out of the way. Dad (J) had wanted to join the questioning, but thought better of it and decided to keep an eye out on the others.

The two of us were questioned for about half an hour before the police had decided that it was best to leave it there. They had organised a meeting with a therapist for next week, as well, in case that we needed it.

Yoongi, being the forgetful person that he is, forgot to mention to CJ that there would be police at the house. They had planned a movie marathon day today and Yoongi had completely forgotten about it.

When CJ had arrived, she was terrified to be met with police who were getting inside their cars. She quickly ran out of her car to the front door and knocked. Dad (N) answered the door, with his famous dimpled smile.

"Good Morning CJ, how are you on this fine morning?" He spoke, clearing not effected by the police cars still on his driveway.

"Is everything ok?! Is anyone hurt!? Did something happen!?" CJ frantically asked. Dad's eyes widened and instantly placed a reasurring hand on her shoulder.

"Don't worry, everything is fine, I thought that Yoongi had informed you of everything?" Dad said confused.

"Inform me about what?" CJ asked. Dad moved inside and allowed CJ in. She stepped in and took off her shoes, noticing Yoongi and I talking on the couch. Dad sighed, agitated as he walked CJ over to Yoongi.

"Kim Yoongi, did you forget to tell CJ what has happened?" Dad sighed. Yoongi's eyes widened and with a scared smile nodded. I grabbed the closest pillow near me and hit him over the head with it. He death glared me before standing up and walking over to CJ.

"Let's go up to my room and I'll explain everything" He smiled sadly. CJ nodded, and the two of them walked upstairs to Yoongi's room where he explained everything and answered every question she had.

I sighed, grabbed my phone off of the coffee table and scrolled through social media. I was swiping aimlessly when I post had caught my attention.

Killers of previous social media victim, Kim Hyuna have been confirmed and will go through trial. If found guilty, they will serve 25 years in jail for murdering a child and could have additional 14 years for sexual assault.

The murderers were confirmed by police moments after they had been caught during an attempted murder of two teenage siblings. It was reported that the youngest of the two were targetted by these predators, who had informed her brother after it had gotten too serious.

The brother, 17 years of age, had minor injuries, getting away with a few scratches. The sister, the age of 14, was left unharmed.

Due to the brother, two of the criminals were found unconcious on site, the remaining criminal however was found with a bullet wound to the shoulder. There were no charges against the two as it was concluded as self defense.

Police fear that there are other predators involved. They urge you to report anything that may seem connected to the recent events. As well as those who are still currently effected by these attacks to speak up to someone about it, just as the young girl has to her older brother.

I kept reading, not noticing the tears beginning to fall. I breathed in, trying my best to calm myself down. After a little while, arms wrapped themselves around me. I looked up, staring at the one, the only, Jimin.

"Hey" he smiled slightly.

"Hi" I sniffled. He let go and walked around the couch to sit down, pulling me into a loving embrace. I wrapped my arms around him, the two of us just stayed there.

"How are you feeling?" Jimin asked, separating from the hug. I only shrugged, I was feeling too many emotions. He hummed and nodded. "So, what do you want to do?" He asked.

"Marvel Movie Marathon?" I asked. He chuckled and nodded.

"I'll go grab some snacks" Jimin spoke. He stood up, walking to the kitchen to grab food and drinks.

Not long after Jimin had returned with snacks and drinks, everyone was seated and ready to start the movies. I was seated in the middle, CJ cuddled up to me on one side, Yoongi next to her, Hoseok seated beside him. Jimin sat beside me, the twins next to him.

We watched as many Marvel movies as we could, before one by one we started falling asleep. By the end of one of the spider-man movies, everyone was asleep.

Dad (N) returned home. He walked in the front door, looking to his right and noticed the TV was still on. He walked over, smiling when he saw the sight. We were all cuddled up to each other, Hoseok rested on Yoongi. Yoongi was sat up, asleep. CJ's legs were on top of his lap while she cuddled with me, her head on mine. I was cuddled up to CJ while Jimin was laid on my lap. The twins were cuddled together, leaning on Jimin.

Dad placed blankets on all of us, cleaned up some of the mess and turned off the television.

He chuckled quielty to himself before walking upstairs to where Jin was relaxing in bed. Jin looked up from the book he was reading and smiled his loving smile at Namjoon.

"Have all of them fallen asleep yet?" He asked, placing his book on the bedside table. Namjoon chuckled, nodding before joining his Husband in bed. "Good" Jin smiled, instantly cuddling up to Namjoon.

"They deserve to finally relax"
