Rye wakes up, yawning and stretching. A smile spreads across his face as he remembered he might see the adorable blond again. That's what made him get out of bed.

Once he'd gotten himself dressed, he went into Romeos room. He was already awake, pacifier in his mouth and a fluffy blanket wrapped around him.

Rye had tried many times to ween him off the pacifier as he was three and shouldn't need one. But his efforts were rendered pointless because he'd end up giving it to him anyway.

"Morning bubs" Rye says after scooping him off the bed, blanket and all. Romeo didn't talk, only kissed his cheek then rubbed his face against his chest. It was his usual way of saying good morning.

"Hungry?" Rye asks as they made their way to the kitchen. Romeo nodded, tucking his head under his chin. Rye got to work making breakfast, leaving some for Kirsty and Jack when they come over.

Not too long after, Rye heard the front door open. The sound of footsteps getting closer until his best friends were revealed. Rye waved at them, continuing to feed Romeo until he pushed the fork away and curled into him. Rye, knowing that meant he was full, ate the rest then put his plate in the sink.

"I have to go, I'll call on my lunch break" Rye says handing him off to Kirsty. "Later squish, Jacky" he says giving them each a peck on the cheek. "Bye bubs" he says placing a big sloppy kiss on Romeo's cheek making him giggle.

"Be good" he whispers to him, booping his nose before heading to the door. "Don't forget to get his number" Jack yells before he shut the door. He rolled his eyes, walking to his car.

The cafe had been busier that day but still not overwhelming. Rye looked up rapidly every time the door jingled signaling a new customer. His smile would fade a little once he realized it wasn't his special blond.

Rye was relived to go on his lunch break. He would at least get to talk to his baby boy and his friends. He takes a seat at one of the tables, pulling out his head phones as he clicked on FaceTime. Seconds later it was answered, Kirstys face popping up as she was sitting on Jacks lap. Romeo was sitting in her lap so his face was right in front of the screen.

"Daddy" Romeo says happily, a bright smile on his face. "Hey bubs, you alright" Rye says, smiling just as brightly at him. He nodded, going on and on about the movie he'd watched. He didn't talk much but when he did, he almost never stops.

"Sounds like a good movie but I've got to go, lunch's almost over" Rye says sighing in frustration. "Where's the adorable blond?" Kirsty asked moving the phone away from Romeos face. "He hadn't shown up" Rye says sadly, a look of pure sadness taking place on his face.

"Aww Bee, maybe he'll come later" Kirsty says, a pout on her lips. "Yeah maybe he's coming at the same time he did last time" Jack adds in, his hand playing with kirsty's hair.

Rye nods, a smile of hope "yeah maybe you're right, I really have to go now" Rye says a lot now on his lips. "Bye bee" Kirsty says, blowing a kiss, Jack doing the same. "Bye daddy" Romeo yells, him now completely out of the camera. "Bye baby, Bye squish" he says to Romeo and Kirsty, saluting Jack before hanging up.

He says, putting his headphones and phone back into his pocket before going back behind the counter. He took a few more orders, customers coming and going but none of them being blond with a butterfly clip.

It was now almost time for Rye to get off of work, Mikey already packed up and gone. The cafe was now empty, no customers coming in for a while. The sunny day was now cloudy with rain pouring down only adding to Ryes now sour mood.

After waiting for fifteen more minutes, Rye had decided no more customers weren't coming, including him. He decided to start cleaning, wiping down tables and throwing away any discarded trash. Rye had his back to the door as he leaned over cleaning a table when the bell at the door sounded.

"We're closed" Rye said sourly not turning around and continuing to clean the table. "Well I guess you'll never know if my order was good or not" the angelic voice sounds behind him. He turns around smiling at the beautiful face that belonged to the voice.

There he was, standing there in all his beauty. He now had on a baggy yellow sweater and black ripped jeans with one yellow butterfly clip pinning back some of  his wet hair. He smiled brightly, his cheeks blushed from shyness and from the cold rain.

"Well you came back so I guess it was pretty good or maybe you just wanted to see this face again" Rye smirks motioning toward his face. "Yeah I just missed that beautiful face so much" Andy says sarcastically, playfully rolling his eyes. Rye laughed, his mood now happier.

"Well what can I get you?" Rye asks walking back toward the counter. "I thought you were closed" Andy says back emphasizing the word "closed". "We're always open for you cutie" Rye says winking at him. Andy rolls his eyes, his cheeks betraying him as they warmed.

"In that case I'll take a strawberry crepe and a mocha latte" He says leaning over the counter. He pulls out his money, making sure he didn't try to pay for it this time. "I'll have to you in a few minutes" Rye says turning to start on it.

He watched as Andy walked over to one if the plush chairs. He sat down near one of the big glass windows, looking out at the rain as he brushed his fingers through his hair. Rye watched him from afar as he prepared his order.

Rye walked over to him once he'd finished it, pulling out a chair and sitting in-front of him. Andy takes a sip of the drink, closing his eyes as he let the warmth fill him. Rye had them noticed the light eye shadow that was displayed beautifully across his eyelids.

"I feel you staring" Andy says, smirking once he saw the blush that was now on Ryes face. "I uh like your makeup" he says mentally slapping himself. Andy laughs slightly, the sound making Ryes heart leap. "So, tell me about yourself" Andy says, scooting his crepe toward him so they could share it.

"What do you want to know?" He asked, holding his piece of the crepe. "I don't know just things" He says shrugging. Rye starts to think, spilling out random things like his favorite color and his favorite animal. Andy listened, commenting some things about himself as well.

"You're pretty interesting" Andy says making Rye laugh. "Hopefully that a good thing" Rye adds making him nod his head rapidly. "Wish I could stay longer but sadly I have class" He says getting up to throw his trash away. Rye had learned that he was a college student studying to be pediatrician.

"Well am I going to see you again?" Rye asks hopefully as he walked him to the door. Andy turns thinking before reaching his hand out. Rye looks at him in confusion until he motions to the phone that was in his apron pocket.

He handed it over to him after unlocking it. Andy saves his number in his phone, waving goodbye as he headed out the door. Rye smiles, changing his name to the nickname he'd called him since the moment he'd seen him, "butterfly🦋"
