Justin's POV

After we left the courthouse Adalynn sat in the back with copeland and I, while andy and Kellin rode upfront. "Ugh, Daaaaaaaad" I whined. "Juuuuuuuustin" dad mocked. "hey, that's bullshit. Why do we have to pick up iris? Can't she just stay there with autumn?" I asked. "Shut the fuck up. Okay, we'll be there soon, when we get there, I need you and Adalynn to go get them" I looked over at ads and she nodded. "hey, um, Adalynn?" I asked facing her. "yeah?" She said cocking an eyebrow. "where'd Raine go?" I asked. "oh, um, I think she left like last week or something, but she said she was going with her family to Oregon, she'll be back about a week before your starts" She answered. I nodded my head. "cool" "Okay, were here, go get them" I sighed and got out of the car. Jeez, just got back from court, now were picking up iris and her fucking friend. "I sighed as we walked into the building. "do you, um like her?" She asked. I froze up. "um, yeah" I mumbled. I watched as her face fell. Shit, now what the fuck do I do?

"Hey, um, look, there they are" She said then started walking over to them. I sighed and followed her. A growl erupted from my throat as I saw that iris was with another guy. "hey, I'm iris' brother. And who the fuck are you" I said glaring. "Justin, calm down the fuck down. This is Jacob, my boyfriend" She growled at me. I put my hands up. "well I guess I'm supposed to be fucking okay with this shit then huh? Yeah right. Come on, dad's waiting in the car." I said then turned around. "jeez, who shit in his coco puffs?" She muttered. "shut the hell up iris" All of a sudden someone pushed me. I turned around to see her boy toy. "what the fuck do you want" I said stalking towards him. I was taller than him, thank you dad for being tall, and towered over him. "do that one more time. I fucking dare you." I growled. "Jeez, you need to calm the fuck down. You can't treat a girl like that" He said turning away and going back to iris. Take a deep breath Justin. Calm the fuck down. "You okay?" I looked over to see Adalynn walking beside me. I smiled at seeing her.

"Yeah, I'm fine" I said facing her now.
She smiled at me then looked ahead of us. "hey look. I'm sorry for being an ass back there. It's just I don't want iris to get hurt, and I have been thinking a lot about this girl. I wanna ask her out, but I don't know how." I frowned. "Oh, well, take her to the movies and out to dinner. Be kind, be honest." She sighed.

"Hey ads? I got a question" she looked at me and nodded he head. "yeah?" I took a deep breath and just asked her. "do you wanna go to the movies tomorrow night?" I asked, scared that she'd say no. A smile grew onto her face when she answered. "of coarse Justin" She grinned. I grinned right back at her. "He's over there" I called out to iris and her asshole boyfriend. When we reached the car I opened the door for ads and hopped in, closing the door just before they reached the door."justin.." Dad said in a warning tone. "yeah, whatever. Dad, that's dickweed, iris' boy toy" I told him, earning a glare from iris as she hopped in the car.

"Shut up justin" I just shrugged. When we got to Kellins place he got out and unbuckled copeland. "come on ads" Kellin told her. "Hey, Kellin? Can I stay over at the Biersacks? Andy will drop me off. Pleeeeeease" She said giving him her puppy dog look. Aww, she looks so cute when she's doing that.

"Andy, you okay with that?" Kellin said looking at dad. I felt excited that Adalynn wanted to stay. A smile grew on my face. I don't even know why. Maybe I'm just a lovestruck idiot.
"Yeah sure, I'll bring her back after dinner. See ya later Kellin" Dad told him waving. Copeland holding on his hand and she tried to drag him into the house.

Adalynn sat back and had her head lie on my shoulder with her feet on the seat. As I looked around I saw that everyone was asleep. It was quiet for a minute. "ads?" I whispered. I looked over to see her eyes were closed.

"You like her, don't you" dad said looking at me in the mirror giving me a knowing smile. "I don't know dad. I think I really do like her" I admitted then slowly fell asleep as well and was met with darkness.
