Chapter 7 - The Night Before Prom

Esme's Point of View

Nobody could believe it was already the night before prom. We had all met yesterday for lunch and decided the girls and the guys would do seperate things. "I'll drive" I offered.

"Kay cool. So we'll all meet at Esme's house for 7 then?" She asked. The other girls nodded in agreement.

"Then us guys will go to a bar, my treat" Ty suggested, winking to me. So it was set. Tomorrow was gonna be fun, but prom will be much more fun.

Leave it up to these girls to get to my house half an hour early while I just got out of the shower. The doorbell rings and I quickly wrap myself in my towel and run to get the door. I open it to find all of the girls standing there "Dam, well hello to you too Esmerelda" Clara winked.

"Come up to my room" I said once they'd all entered and I closed the door behind them. I quickly put on a bra and a pair of leopard print panties in the bathroom before stepping out to get clothes. We'd all been over to eachothers house and seen eachother half naked far too often to be shy about walking around in practically nothing. I looked at what the other girls were wearing so I don't over dress. They're in booty shorts and crop tops, talk about sexy. I open my drawer filled with summer clothes and pick out a pair of light blue denim shorts along with a bright pink crop top.

"Ready?" I asked looking at the 4 girls sprawled out on my bed.

"We've been ready since we got here, let's go have some fun" Sandy said, far too energetically. We all go downstairs and into the hall.

I toss the keys to Clara "Clara start the car, I'll be out in a minute" the girls all ran out after her. I turned back to make sure everyone was gone before pulling out my phone and calling Ty

"hey baby" he said as he picked up "how's everything going so far?" He asked.

"Pretty good we're leaving my house right now. How bout you?"

"Not too bad, just waiting for the guys."

"I just wanted to call and see whats up"

"okay then babe, the guys are here. I'll call you tonight. I love you" he whisphered through the phone

"I love you too" I said before ending the call. I grabbed the house keys, locked the door and ran to the car.

"Took you long enough" snarled Becca.

"Oh hush. Anyone in the mood for some soca?" I ask while slipping into the driver's seat. They all squeal. I lean over Clara and grab a soca cd from the glove compartment. I pop it in and press play while putting on my seatbelt. I wind down the windows before switching gears to reverse. Once I'm out of my driveway I pull the clutch down and step on the gas.

Ty's Point of View

Just like I told the guys we were going to a bar, just not right away. Once they were all at my house we got into my porshe and went to the local flower shop. "This isn't a bar Ty, what the hell?" Jack said.

"What are we doing at a flower shop?" Nick questioned.

I turned off the engine after pulling into a parking spot right infront of "Flora's Flowers" "Stop whining and get out of the dam car." Like usualy they all listened the first time. I never have to repeat myself to these guys, they all know what they'd have coming if I got upset.

We all walk into the flower shop and I ring the bell at the front counter. "Just a minute" a soft voice called from the back room. The guys started looking around and when a small girl with blonde hair, blue eyes and a flower in her hair walked up to the counter. After recognizing me she ran around the counter and wrapped her tiny arms around my torso "Ty! How's everything going?" She hollered capturing the attention of the guys.

"Everythings good, how's everything with you Flora?"

"Pretty good," she replied. "Are these the guys you called me about?" She questioned. I nod in agreement. "Okay let me grab the boxes, be back in a jiffy!"

After she disappears into the back "Who's the girl Ty?" Jack winks.

"Oh calm your shit Jack. If you missed the big ass sign outside that said "Flora's Flowers" or you didn't already hear me call her Flora, her name is Flora. We went to middle school together. "

"Ooo, Ty's dissin'. Did she always have this much energy?"

"Not dissin' just stated the obvious and yeah Flora was always this energetic." I chuckled.

"What's so funny? " Flora giggles. I turn to look at Flora but I can't see her because she's carrying a stack of boxes covering her head.

"Want some help?" Nick asks.

"No thanks, I've got it." She says placing the boxes on the counter. "Okay boys, what colours are you guys wearing?" She smiles.

"Colours?" Jack questioned

"Oh my shit guys! I ordered us corsages for our girls tomorrow. That's what she's talking about." They all clued and produced a unified "oooooo" After picking their corsages they also picked bouquets of flowers to give to the ladies tomorrow. "All set?" I asked

"yup" Nick replied.

"Alright. Hey it was nice seeing you Flora, thanks again for your help!" I said while swiping my debit card.

"You betcha Ty, don't forget to come pick them up tomorrow" She said as we left the shop.

As we get into the car I hear Daniel call "well aren't you sweet, buying our girls flowers. But I kinda wanted to get some drinks"

I turned back after putting the key in the ignition, "who said we weren't still going?" They all gave a little chuckle and I pulled put of the parking lot. The bar we usually go to is only 2 minutes away but I decided to take them to a different bar. One where we wouldn't be reconized.

I pull up infront of the big sign with bright green letters that read " The Pub"

"Really Ty? We couldn't just go to Zoom like always." I turned off the engine and pulled my keys out of the ignition.

"That's exactly it Nick, we always go to Zoom I thought change wouldn't be too bad"
