Narrator's PoV

Argent and Mideiro were casually eating their lunch, after consoling the smaller man's dizziness, Argent just had a simple sandwich and Mideiro had a homemade bento. " Hey, Mideiro! Can I have one of those octopus thingies? " the Frenchman pointed towards the hotdog octopuses in the other's bento box( is that what it's called? ) while swallowing a piece of a sandwich he ate. Mideiro nodded and casually handing him one, Argent mumbling " Merci " with a grin and just ate it wholly.

His eyes sparkled as he felt sweet and savory flavors of the food dance around his tongue, numbing his sense of taste. He let out a weak, moan of pleasure from the flavor, grinning as Mideiro retreated his lunch to his chest. " No! One is enough for you! " he puffed his cheeks along with a huff, Argent just 'awwing' in disappointment. He resorted back to eating his sandwich, Mideiro putting back down his bento and ate again.

It happened so quickly that Mideiro didn't even get the time to process what just happened. All he knows is that Argent had most of the hotdog octopuses in his hands, leaving him only one left, and his friend was about to eat them all. He loved those octopuses, yelling as he was about to grab his collar, furious, " Argent!!! " He manage to stop him for a second, sending him a 'What?' look. Mideiro was indeed pissed but there was no stopping him from trembling under such a menacing figure behind the grey haired man.

Argent glanced behind, only to see a pair of cold, mean eyes staring down at him and he began sweating buckets from that.

" Give those back. "

" Oui, ouI, OUIOUIOUI-- " Argent panicked when they attempted to grab the collar of his top, giving Mideiro all of the octopuses in a flash like what he was told to. Of course he had to obey, he was facing the Greek God built delinquent Hoshiro Kujo after all. Hoshiro soon ignored the pale Frenchman, who looked like his soul flew away, and paid attention to Mideiro, who was completely stunned. They stared at each other, like they usually do, but then Hoshiro gave this tiny little smile before walking away like nothing happened.

Mideiro was dumbstruck. He stared at his lunch then at the direction where Kujo left, and lastly towards Argent who had fainted since earlier. He was so confused. Why did he do that? He could've just let Argent have it but just why? He had so many questions he wanted to be answered but, for now, he hid his lunch and walked over to his pal, carrying his heavy figure out of the canteen. He was headed to the nurse's office though he was already tired despite not being halfway there yet, Argent was too fucking heavy or maybe he was just too weak.

With more struggling, he continued on but was stopped by someone. He looked up to see whoever stood in front of him, meeting a pair of kind and bright, amber coloured eyes. He had a sweet smile on his square-round face. ' Wow, he looks really soft, ' Mideiro thought as the man spoke, " Greetings! I see you're struggling carrying Polnareff, mind if I lend a hand? " ' And he addresses Argent by his last name, ' his train of thought continued. He nodded desperately, the man taking action quick as he got Argent off his shoulders and into his arms. He had him carried bridal style.

" What's your name? " Mideiro asked, pulling out his phone and preparing to capture a picture. " Ahmar Sahir Avdol, but you can call me Aka if you like, " Ahmar spoke in a soft, gentle voice with his usual killer smile. Mideiro grinned as he readied his phone, " Okay, Aka! Say cheese! " Ahmar showed a toothy grin with a small peace sign, even with Argent still in his arms. Mideiro had taken a decent picture, grinning maliciously as it was masked by an innocent one. " Anyway, let's head to the nurse's office. I'm Mideiro Kakyoin, by the way. "

" Well nice to meet you, Kakyoin! "

" Please, just call me Mideiro. "

Argent let out a tired groan, blinking his eyes open and stared at the ceiling. ' What happened? ' he asked to himself, rubbing his eyes with a hand while the other supported him up. It took a while but then he remembered, immediately paling from the memory. Was Mideiro friends with him? The delinquent? Oh God he was thankful he wasn't beaten up, yet why was he in the nurse's office?

He then noticed Ahmar, dozed off beside his bed with his face in a book. He was taken aback by a bit, surprised that he was here. He looked out the window, noticing the sun was going to set. ' Just how long was I out from fear!? ' he mentally screamed, his attention back to Ahmar. He shifted on the mattress to get closer to his classmate, grasping his shoulder and shook it lightly. " Ahmar! Ahmar! Wake up! " his whisper-yelling was enough to wake the Egyptian man, the book falling out of his face and turned towards Argent who was intently staring at him.

" Bonjour, monsieur Polnareff. Did you rest well? " He smiled like it was nothing, somehow making Argent's heart skip a beat. He tried to shake off whatever popped into his head, returning an awkward grin and nodded at his question. " Yeah.. uh, sorry for making you stay here.. " Argent tossed his legs off the bed and sighed with shame towards his own pathetic self, making Ahmar furrow his brows in concern. " You don't have to be sorry, it was my decision to stay. "

" Where's Mideiro? "

" He already had left hours ago, I ensured him you'll be fine with me. "

" Oh, " Argent mumbled and stared off to the outside as Ahmar traced to where he stared at, turning back to him and stood up from his seat. " Let's go home, shall we? " he suggested with a small kind gesture of lending his hand. The Frenchman was flattered, though he tried not to show it much. He gently took his hand, his breath getting caught in his throat for a moment as his fingers gently wrapped around the Egyptian's soft, warm hand.

He finally stood as well, their bodies a few centimeters apart and their hands slowly making each other intertwine, sliding through each others' fingers and grasping onto each other -- not wanting to let go.  Their faces were an inch apart, feeling each other's warm breaths brush against their lips. Both of their eyes were intently focused onto each other. Before they knew it, their subconscious was pulling them closer, their thoughts hazy as if their heads were up in the clouds. Slowly, their lips were centimeter apart..

Until 'Space Unicorn' started blasting from Ahmar's phone at full volume.
