Star's PoV

For the past 3 days, I have been following Mideiro's orders. Remember our deal back in the arcade? It's because of that. So far, he hasn't really given me anything that was too much to handle, which was pretty boring I had to admit but maybe he was just looking out for me. I entered the class a bit earlier than usual, taking my seat behind the winner of our competition. The door opened and I saw Mideiro. Strange. It was still early, and the bell hasn't rung yet. Usually he'd come here a second after the bell but now he's way too ahead of the bell. He casually struted to his seat in front of me, turning to me and simply greeted, " Morning, Hoshiro, "

I can't tell whether he's frowning or not, he's always kept that face mask on for mysterious reasons. I greet him back with a hum and a small nod of acknowledgement before turning to the window. I could sense he's pouting, it's a gut feeling,  as I heard him mumble, " At least say good morning back.. " Then he looked away. I was quiet for a moment before sighing, " ..good morning to you too, Mideiro. " He turned to me, and seemed to be smiling, before patting my arm gently. " I nearly forgot you have to do as I say for a week. " This week is going to be hell, isn't it?

" Can I come over to your home, Hoshiro? " simply asked Mideiro in a quiet voice as we were in a library. He was reading books and he dragged me here. It wasn't bad, to be honest, it was quiet and I liked it. I rose a brow at his question though and answered, " Why? " " Because why not? " he replied to my question rather quickly, his eyes glued to the pages of whatever he was reading. I let out a silent sigh and slumped a bit over the table where read, " Sure, it's up to you anyway, " I finally answered to the question and added, " Even if I said no, you'll just keep on insisting, " A soft chuckle came from the other, a soft and adorable one.

" We've been friends for nearly about 2 weeks and yet you know how my mind works already, " he stated as I rolled my eyes playfully. " Not really. It's just a gut feeling, kinda inherited that from gramps. " I huffed and heard him chuckle once more. We were both silent afterwards, my eyes wandering all over the place. However, my gaze keeps returning to him. I know I liked him, but I wasn't so sure about that, maybe it was just hormones. I tried shaking the thought off as I looked around more, but they kept returning to him.

Somehow I can't get my eyes off him. Like his white-silver hair gently swaying side to side with every subtle movements he made, his soft-looking pale skin glowing like the sun, his bright yet calm golden yellow eyes that hold so many thing about himself, and his voice was so soft and sweet that kept ringing like music in my ears-- " Hoshiro? Is there something on my face? " asked the man I was describing earlier in my thoughts with a confused look. Unknown to me, apparently I was staring at him the entire time. I felt my face grow a bit hot and shook my head as my eyes averted themselves away from him.

It was quiet once again, and I tried my very best trying to not stare at him and I was hiding my flustered face from the world with my arms. Out of nowhere, he spoke up, startling me as I jumped slightly from my seat. " You can go get a book Hoshiro, I didn't bring you here to just sulk like a baby, " I looked up and saw his.. sweet and gentle smile. I swear to God my heart just skipped a beat, help me. My face warmed up again as I nodded, standing up from my seat as I walked off to somewhere. When he was gone from my sights, I let out a sigh of relief as I found myself in a row of encyclopedia's. And right in front of me were books wih 15 volumes.. of Marine wildlife.

I have to thank Mideiro for bringing me here, I needed these in my life.

...

I took the first 3 volumes of the encyclopedia, walking back to where me and Mideiro sat with a bright smile plastered on my face. I cheerfully skipped to where he should be but I stopped when I heard a familiar voice. Instinctively, I hid behind the book corridors, then peaked at the side. Just as I thought. It was HIM. The student council's president. He's never had a good impression on me on the first day, but I did return the kind gesture. That blondie was casually talking to Mideiro and he was awfully close, I could see Mideiro getting uncomfortable around him.

With a clenched fist, I approached them and my presence alone was enough to capture their attention, my gaze meeting with tiger-like pair of eyes. " Well, well, well.. if it isn't Hoshiro Kujo? " he hummed as he stood up straight. I squinted my eyes at him and set down the books on the table before crossing my arms. " Zawaru Brando. What brings you here? " A small chuckle came from the blond, brushing his fingers against Mideiro's cheek. " Can't you see? I'm having a little chit chat with Mideiro here.. " He leaned down close to Mideiro's ear and audibly whispered, " Isn't that right, Mr. Kakyoin~? "

Mideiro's breathing was getting short and ragged as he nodded at what the president said, causing him to smirk widely and turn to me. God, I wanted to punch that smirk right off his face. My fists clenched tighter as I grit my teeth, it was pretty obvious I was damn pissed at this cocky bitch. He gave me a toothy grin and spoke, " Oh my~ Someone is getting a bit uptight here. " " Get out. " I snarled and turned his grin upside down. He huffed and placed his hands on his waist, unamused. " Is that how you greet a student council? " " I said. Get. Out. " With a scoff, he rolled his eyes and walked away, waving a little bye bye with the same stupid smirk on his face.

I walk over to Mideiro and knelt down so he won't have to look up at me. His anxious eyes met with mine as I muttered, " What happened? " He shook his head stubbornly, not wanting to say a word as I furrowed my brows. " Are you sure you don't want to tell me? " He nodded at my question and I stood up. We just kinda stood and/or sat there til I wrapped him in a heartfelt hug. My guts said I had to do this so I did. He had his head rested on my chest but soon I felt his arms wrap around by waist. This lasted for minutes, I wanted to pull away but he didn't, so I remained in this hug. I just wished he wasn't hearing how fAST MY HEART WAS BEATING.

" Are we still heading to my home? " I asked.

He looked up at me and, I swear to God why is he so adorable, said with the widest grin he could make, (I can tell from how his mask stretch)

" Of course, I demanded it after all, didn't I? "
