Hierophant's PoV

11th of October

School was dismissed, it had been 2 months after the school festival. God, that day was tiring, especially to Argent who passed out for 2 days straight. Poor him, but despite that he's energetic as ever, and surprisingly he makes more rational and not-so-reckless decisions these days- like not eating a countless amount of pudding or impulse buying useless stuff(unless he really likes it, he will buy it though) It seemed that Ahmar's rational personality was influencing him.. but nonetheless, these two are still chaotic together. They'll wreak havoc in the world with chickens and love. Now that I think about it.. they actually just might.

But, without my notice, I was spacing off and Hoshiro was calling me the entire time. I finally snapped out of it when he was wildly shaking my shoulder. " Mide! " " H- huh? " I turned towards him, blinking a couple of times as he just stared at me with those gorgeous teal eyes. I flashed a grin at him awkwardly, I wasn't wearing my mask too, and scratched the back of my neck anxiously, " Sorry.. I was spacing of.. Were you saying something? " He simply nodded, letting his hand fall off my shoulder, " I was asking if you have any plans for today.. I'm free and.. well, I just wanna spend time with you.. " He turned away, but I clearly saw his red flushed face.

I couldn't help but grin widely. Hoshiro was such a tsundere to friends, but a menace to strangers' eyes. I'm lucky I have someone like him, he's just.. super nice and really fun to get along with.. despite his screw-ups, but those always end up being hilarious. I wrapped an arm around his and scooted closer to the man. " We could play video games at home if you want. I have some we could play together, " " But.. I don't know how to play video games. " He admitted and I just blankly stared at him in genuine shock. I was stunned. How the hell does he not know ho- well, considering his status of having no real friends and a former delinquent, I guess it makes sense in a way.

The silence was making him anxious, I could tell, it was written all over his face. I silently sighed and cupped his face, tiptoeing as I brought his face down. " It's alright, Shiro. I understand, you big baby, " I ruffled his floating hair and watched him adorably pout. He's too similar to a pup and he will be the death of me someday, I am sure of that. " Come on, let's go. " I began leading him the way back to my home, dragging him by his arm as he followed, " But- " " No buts! You're gonna learn from one of the greatest gamers of all time! " He deadpanned at me but he was still smiling, and so we ventured on. 

We appeared soon in front of our home and, without knocking, I just open the door. " Mideiro? " My father's voice called from the kitchen. " Hey, dad! I brought a friend. " Footsteps scurried on the floor and he poked his head out of the kitchen, looking at Hoshiro who sheepishly waved and awkwardly grinned, " H- hello, sir.. " Dad gasped and walked over to us with a wide grin. He then wrapped his arms around Hoshiro, taller than my dad, and managed to lift him off the ground. But after a moment, he pulled away and Shiro was just confused. " My name is Noriaki Kakyoin, Mideiro's father! Mide! " Oh no. He wrapped me in a suffocating hug and looked at me with a big grin, " You've never brought anyone home before- not even Argent! "
