"no, i'm glad you did too," I look at Sting and smile slowly.

he smiles back as his eyes soften a little bit.

"Talia?"

"Yeah?"

"I am SO sorry..." he looks down.

"It's okay Sting, everything happens for a reason right..?" I grab his hand and hold it in mine.

he nods. "You're right," he looks up at me once more, "so then if everything happens for a reason...what's going on outside?"

Am I really doing all this like Sting had mentioned? is he fluking?

I get up.
"c'mon lets go," I pull him up off my bed and glance out the window momentarily.

"Where to?"

"The guild..."

*approaching the guild*

I walk side by side with Sting as we approach the guildhall.

The skies....

once we reached the doors, I gave him a side glance. I admit I was nervous because Gray could be in the guild and other people are going to give me weird looks.

Sting grabs my hand reassuringly and gives it a little squeeze before letting go.
I smile a little bit as I push the doors open.

I'm currently in the guild hall, sitting down trying to get my mind off of everything that happened recently.

I can't take my mind off of her...
I miss her...

just as i lift my cup up to my lips, the doors open.

it's Talia and Sting. I sigh and try to avoid looking at her, but she's just so beautiful. She looks happy with Sting.

they walk through the guild and up to the master, Talia gives me a shy look as she walks away.

is it possible to be with someone who has a mate...? we were perfect and then sting came into the picture..

The first thing I notice as I walk inside is Gray. I can't help but look his way as we pass him. I can tell he's jealous...it's only in his nature to be.

my other guild mates stare at me as I walk towards gramps, Sting following close behind me.

"How's your boyfriend?" someone shouts, snickering afterwards.

"Don't have one," I say calmly as I stand by the bar top.

I sigh heavily and look at Gramps.

"what is it child,?" He looks at Sting with a look of confusion on his face.

"outside...it's really weird and we think I have something to do with it..." I rub my temples slowly, "I've been trying to find stuff about my past; maybe this will help?" I suggest.

Sting stands behind me as I talk with Gramps, his arms loosely around my waist.

a little smile tugs at my lips.
"why do you think you have something to do with all of this?" he asks me, rubbing his chin slowly.

"Well," I let out a small sigh, "Mystogan told me that I posses ancient magic, but he won't tell me what is..." Sting puts his head on my shoulder almost and lets his hair fall over his eyes as I talk.

"He said he wants me to figure out clues for myself...I don't even know gramps,"

"could you talk to him about it, because in all my years of living, I have never seen anything like this,"

I nod slowly.
"Probably...should i go right now?"

"yes, this is important. Be safe Talia, it's dangerous out there."

I nod once again, standing up straighter as Sting removes his arms from my waist.

as Sting and I make our way closer to the guild doors, I glance back at Gray one last time hoping he'd look at me too.

I make eye contact and smile a little again, hoping he won't notice how broken I am without him.

Gray's pov

As Talia walks away, she makes quick eye contact with me. She seem's happy but she let her guard down for a second. I can tell that she's upset and that everything going on is really bothering her.

fuck. I don't know how we could possibly make this work. I still love her so much, I don't think i've ever loved anyone more than i've loved Talia.

I rest my hands in my face and sigh in frustration. I don't know if i'll ever get her back...

"so where are we going again?," sting turns his head to look at me a little, waiting for an answer.

"We're going to find Mystogan because I need answers. I'm not gonna let him tell me bullshit this time. I just want the truth and the truth only."

He looks at me satisfied with the answer I had given him and slowly reaches for my hand as we walk.

I comply and interlock our fingers gently as we start our journey.
