     "Talia...look...I," He stuttered, which was so incredibly cute, in my opinion at least. My cheeks heated up as he gazed into my purple-red eyes that sparkled, and shook slightly. ( you know when their eyes shake when they look at someone? well that's what I'm trying to get at).

     "I don't know why I let myself fall for you...I've always had feelings for you, even so, more recently after you returned home," he half smiled half smirked at me, which drove me crazy. Everything about Gray was perfect, and I was going insane not being able to say it to his face.

     "I-I didn't know you felt that way about me Gray..." I had always thought of Gray as my best friend, my brothers biggest competition, but more recently, I've been feeling different about him... I think that I'm falling for Gray Fullbuster.

Gray's pov

     "I-I didn't know you felt that way about me Gray..." Talia looked into my navy eyes and smiled, almost sadly, as if she was remembering everything that happened. Only Natsu and I know, she hasn't even told Makorav yet. Talia was born a long long time ago.

She was born when Zeref had his reign over the city. As you know, Zeref and Natsu are brothers, which means Zeref and Talia were brother and sister. They were so close until Zeref became 'evil' Talia tried to stop him but he continuously hurt her. She only wanted to be close to him again, but he pushed her away every time, and over the years, she eventually gave up, tired from trying to receive something she would no longer be getting.

     It's heartbreaking, really, she only wanted to be with her brother once more, but she has Natsu now, and I know that he will always treat her right, but if he doesn't, my fist will be meeting his face.
"Are you okay Gray?" Hearing her voice made me snap out from my train of thought and I looked at her. I smiled and nodded my head subtly, as she gave her per usual cheerful smile, showing off her sharp fangs.

     I slowly went back to being my nonchalant self, again, per usual, but Talia stopped me before I could become emotionless again.
"Listen I really like you too," great I'm about to be permanently friend zoned.
"Gray, did you hear what I said?" She looked at me impatiently, I nodded in return focusing my gaze into her purple-red orbs.
"I really do like you... I just think," I cut her off before she could break my heart again.
"That we should stay friends, yeah I get it it's okay," I looked down at my feet a shadow over my eyes.

"What no! I want to be with you Gray, I really do, I just think we should take our relationship slow, that's all," she smiled her usual grin, and I sat there enjoying the moment we had just had together.
A smile formed at the end of my lips and I kissed her cheek gently, my reward, her cheeks turning pink, and her being flustered.
"G-Gray... w-what did I say about taking it s-slow?" I smirked and shrugged.
"Short memory baby," I tapped my head and smiled again. She shifted around in the infirmary bed and looked at me.

"Will you help me up? I'm tired of laying here, plus I'm starving," I reached my hand out to hers, which she gladly accepted. I pulled her up and embraced her in my arms for a brief moment, then wrapped her arm around my neck for support as she slowly stood up. I helped her walk out of the infirmary and into the main room, everyone stopped what they were doing  and looked at us.

     "Talia! You're okay! We were so worried about you!" Mirajane added, clasping her hands together and smiling with her eyes closed. I glanced at her and shot her a small smile, then looked at Talia to make sure she was doing ok.

     "I'm kinda hungry, and dizzy," I nodded and walked with her to the bar and sat her down on the wooden bar stools that looked like they would break at any moment. I sat down next to her and asked Mirajane if she would bring out some hot soup, I mean, that always does the trick right?

Talia's pov

     I was sitting by Gray at the bar when Natsu made his way into my mind, and I couldn't stop thinking about him, until he came up behind me and hugged me gently. I smiled as I knew it was just Natsu, relieved, I relaxed my shoulders and the rest of my body since I must've tensed up when he so sweetly hugged me.
"I love you Natsu," a small smile formed at the end of my pink lips, as I stared into his intense olive-green eyes, he just tilted his head, closed his eyes and gave me a toothy grin, fangs baring and all.
"I love you too, little sis," he ruffled my hair, I became flustered and struggled to push his hand off my pounding head. I then became ever so slightly light-headed, causing me to close my eyes and lean back for a brief moment, slowly opening my eyes and regaining my balance, I noticed Mirajane had placed a hot bowl of soup and some crackers in front of me.

     "T-Thank you...Mirajane," I cracked a dry smile and took my spoon and sink it into the steaming bowl. I blew on the soup for a few minuets before actually tasting it. By the time it was cool enough to eat, my mouth was watering, the smell of all the herbs and seasoning together made me feel like I was in heaven.

     I put the spoon in my mouth and swallowed the soup. My eyes opened wide and I made a cute face; the soup was soo good. Mirajane always knew how to cheer you up with her amazing cooking. Per usual, she's good at everything. I smiled at Natsu, Mirajane, and Gray and trailed off into my own mixed up thoughts.
     I have the best family I could ever ask for, I'm so thankful for all of you, and I hope we're always there for each other, no matter what.

I think this is the longest chapter I've written, sorry if some scenes seem confusing, I write these in a series of days so I get mixed up lol anyway yeah, enjoy :)
