"Gray..."
I looked at her cautiously, not being able to read the expression on her face.

she looked took a step closer to me and grabbed both of my hands in hers. I gave them a gentle squeeze as my eyes averted her soft gaze upon me.

"I love you..." the three words slipped out of my mouth and I instantly felt my cheeks heat up from embarrassment. I quickly let go of Gray's hands and tucked a loose strand of hair behind my ear, staring at the ground the whole time.

as soon as those words came out of her mouth, the world stopped spinning. Everything seemed to be in slow motion. It was just me, Talia and the cherry blossom trees that guarded us. Protected us.

I glanced at her, the tips of my ears heating up at the sight of her gorgeous physique. I felt a small smile tug at the end my lips, my cheeks also heating up a little too.
"I love you too Talia," I smiled down at her and placed two of my fingers under her chin lifting it up slightly, making her gaze focus on me.

With my other arm, I pulled her close to me. I slowly felt my body leaning towards her and feeling her do the same made me smile.

the atmosphere was perfect. Not too hot nor cold. The sun was just about to set and the cherry blossom trees were in full bloom, surrounding the two of us. Making it feel like we were the only two people in the world.

I pulled away from his lips, my eyes shining ever so slightly. I looked up at Gray who was now rubbing the back of his neck sheepishly.

what a softie.

I smiled and took Gray's hand in mine once again.

"let's go back home."

he nodded and we started walking down the trail hand in hand. I never thought I could be so happy. Gray makes me feel safe and comfortable. I'm not scared to show my affection for him...

I smiled to myself happily. Swinging mine and gray's arms back and forth, as we made our way towards the house in the woods.
