Stiles
"Hey, dude, good decision, buddy," I told Scott, referring to him not letting the twins join his pack. "Good alpha-decision."
Scott sighed. "I hope so."
"No, you know so," I said as I opened my locker and jumped. In retrospect, I probably should've been more careful since it was Mischief Day today, but alas, I didn't think that far. This had been a thing since fifth grade, but I guess that with everything that had gone down it would've changed. Plus, it was always different every year, so you can't really blame me for being surprised when about 84 burger wrappers from Joe's burgers fell out of my locker.
"Damn, this girl can eat," I whispered under my breath.
I turned to my left and saw Valerie wink at me just before she turned around the corner. I turned to Scott, who, to my surprise, didn't seem to have noticed what just happened. I followed his gaze. Unsurprisingly, it led to the pretty new girl: Kira.
"What are you looking at?" I asked as I opened my backpack.
"Me?"
"You. You looking at her?" I nodded my head towards Kira and put a carton of eggs in my locker, making sure no teachers saw.
"Her? Who her?"
"Her her. Kira. You like her?"
"No. I mean, uh... yeah, yeah, she's okay. She's new."
"So, ask her out." I closed my locker.
"Now?"
"Yes now!" I put my backpack back on.
"Right now?"
"Right now." I put my hand on Scott's shoulder. "Scott, I don't think you get it yet." I patted my hand on his chest. "You're an alpha. Okay, you are the apex predator. Everyone wants you, you know. You're like the hot girl that every guy wants."
