Chapter 16

Betty POV

It's been 2 weeks since I lost my baby. I've been in my room being depressed. And I don't wanna be like that. So I called my therapist Ally and made an appointment. It is at 1 so I take a shower and then I get dressed. I put on some basketball shorts and a crop top.

I go into the kitchen to get something to eat. "Hey guys" I say and get an apple.

"Bubba...hey how you feeling" he says putting his bowl down. I sit on his lap.

"Better but not 100%. So I'm talking to Ally today and then I have dance class. I won't be back until around 4." I say

"Okay I'll see you later love you." He says when I'm at the door.

"Love you too" then I leave

Jughead POV

Ever since our baby died Betty has been in her room. Never talking to people. Even at night she wouldn't cuddle me but I would hold her. We were all grieving. Alice is supposed to be coming in 2 days. I haven't told Toby yet  I'm gonna tell him today.

"Hey Toby come here so I can do your hair" he stood up and got the brush. He walked to me and sat down.

"Daddy can you put my hair up today like uncle Matt did" he says

"Yeah bud" I start brushing his hair.

"Your mommy was gonna have a baby" I say

"Yeah I'm so excited" he says and claps his hands.

"Well I...the baby went somewhere" I say

"Where did it go" he says

"It went to a place called heaven." I say

"Isn't that place where people go when the die" he says

"Yeah" I say tearing up.

"The baby is dead" he says and starts crying.

I pull him into a hug "it's okay." I say rubbing his back.

"But I wanted to be a big brother" he cries

"I know and you can still be. But not right now. Okay" I say and he nods in my chest. And then I finish his hair.

"You ready to go to Daniel's house." I say tying his shoes.

"Yeah he said that today we can jump on his trampoline." Then we walk out of the apartment.

"Daddy I want a trampoline. Can we get one." He says jumping up and down.

"Bub we have no space for it" I say

"Okay then can we get a puppy" he says and then we walk down to the car.

"Bub the apartment doesn't allow pets" I say laughing and buckling him in is car seat.

"Then can we get a fish" he says and I start the car up.

"Yeah wanna gold fish" I say

"Can I get two so I can name them Mac and cheese." He says smiling

"Yeah bud" I say

"Yes thanks Daddy can we get them today." He says

"When you come home from Daniel's" I say and pullover at his house.

"Okay" he says. I get out of the car and unbuckle Toby's seat belt. And I lift him out of the car.

"Kay go knock on the door." I say and he runs up the stairs. I follow him and fangs opens the door.

"Hey Toby hey Jones Danny's in the back yard." Fangs says and Toby runs inside.

"I'll be by at 4:30 to pick him up" I say

"I thought 5" fangs says

"He wants to get a fish so it might take a while."I say

"I'll call you if there is a problem." Fangs says

"Bye"I say

"Bye" then he closes the door.

Betty POV

I didn't go to dance class today because after talking with Ally I felt exhausted. I'm on the couch watching tv. Jughead isn't here nor Toby. I lay on the couch and watch TV.

"Matt" Jugheads says walking into the apartment.

"He isn't here" I say and sit up

"Hey Betty I thought you had dance class" he says and takes off his shoes

"I'm too to tired for it." I say

He looks at me and smiles " Are you in a snuggle mood Bubba " he smiles. I nod and smile with my eyes closed. He comes over to the couch. I stretch my arms out for him. He picks me up and carries me to our room. And then we lay down in bed.

"Hmmm I can get use to this" Jug says and kisses my neck.

"Can I talk to you about today" I say

"Yeah you can talk to me about anything" he says. I really think I have the best boyfriend in the world.

"Well the reason why I haven't came out of our bedroom in so long was because I was confused. I didn't know how to feel. And I know you said I could feel what ever but I couldn't. I really wanted to meet our little boy" I say and wipe my tears.

"Boy.... he was a boy" Jug says looking at me with tears in his eyes

"Yeah I found out maybe a couple days before I had a miscarriage. But I was planning to make a video about it. But never got the chance to."I say crying. Jughead holds me while I sob in his chest.

"Bubba it's okay" he says and kisses My hair.

"Ally says I just really need to move on and I agree with her. I can't just stay cooped up in our room for the rest of my life. I want to see our son Toby grow up. And our relationship grow." I take his hand.

"Bubba if you really want more kids I'll happily help you." Jughead says and I hit his arm.

"I'm just gonna act like that didn't happen." I say

"You know you want this" he says and pulls up his shirt and shows me his flat stomach.

"What is there for me to want." I says and he starts tickling me.Then he gets a phone call.

"This isn't over" he says and grabs his phone.

"Hey Fangs what's up"
