Chapter 27

Jughead POV

Today I came home. The book signing was fun. A girl asked for my number then I said I had a girlfriend. She was frowning for the rest of that signing. It's like 7 am and I just walked though the door. Im not supposed to be home until tomorrow but I came earlier cause I miss my family. I put my keys on the coffee table and see Kevin sleeping on the couch.

I walk into me and Betty's room and see her sleeping in the middle of the bed. I take off my shoes and jacket. I put on some sweatpants and take off my shirt.

I try and lay down next to Betty but it's too uncomfortable. So I shake her a little. " Bubba" I say

She groans and then looks at me confused. Then she smiles and hugs me.

"Hey" I say

"I missed you" she says

"I missed you too so much" I smile and kiss her hair. We lay down with her head on my chest.

"I thought you were supposed to come home tomorrow." She says

"I was but I missed you and I had nothing to do." I smile. She sighs softly and falls asleep. And then I do the same.

2 hours later

"Dada!!" Toby yells then jumps on my stomach.

"Ow you gotta stop doing that dude." I say

"Sorry I'm just excited you're home."he says

"Me too wanna sleep" I say and lay him down on my chest.

Then Betty sits up and looks at me "I'm hungry" she says and then gets out of bed.

"Hey I wanted to snuggle all morning" I say

"I have to got somewhere with Kevin today" she says

"Tharts why he's here" I say

"What I thought he went home yesterday" she says and walks out of the room.

"Oo Kevin's in trouble" Toby mumbles

"Why how long has he been here" I say

"When mommy let him stay the night he only left to get clothes and change." Toby says.

3 hours later

"Kay Jug we're leaving" she says and kisses me good bye.

"Let's watch tv" I say and turn it on. During the show I fell asleep.

Betty POV

"So the baby looks heathy. I'll say you're about 4 or 5 weeks" the doctor says. I smile looking at the little baby on the screen.

"I'll get these photos printed and then you can leave" the doctor says and wipes the gel off my stomach. Then he leaves the room.

"Oh my gosh that was so cute. You gotta tell him" Kevin says

"Not yet Kev I'm just not ready" I say and then we get the pictures. I'm six weeks pregnant just small. I have to come back in two weeks for another check up.

Jughead POV
Two weeks later

Betty has been very distant from me. And in most of the relationships I seen this is where they break up and I don't wanna break up.

Betty just walked in from going out with Kevin. "Hey Bubba"I say

"Hey Jug" she says taking off her jacket.

"Do you still love me" I ask

"Yes I still love you why"she says

"Cause you have been distant lately and that's how my parents relationship ended and his and Julian's mom's relationship ended." I say looking at the ground.

She sits next to me and hugs me." I'm sorry I made you feel this way. But I love you. It's just school and Kevin thinks there is a ghost in his apartment. So I'm helping him look for a new one. Okay" she explains.

"I love you too" I say and then we just chill on the couch for the rest of the day.
