Two Girls and A Lion

Pidge POV

I left Sage and headed to eat breakfast. While we were eating Shiro informed us that as soon as we finished breakfast we were to head to our lions so we could answer a distress call from a nearby planet. We finished and headed to our lions.
I got to Green and saw Sage sitting in the pilot chair with her cloaking device turned off. Walking up behind her to tell her the rest of the plan. She jumped but then listened to me intently. I told her that I wanted her to work on some modifications to Green since I hadn't had time. After she was working in the cargo bay for a while I had green nudge me (mentally of course) I think she was trying to say that she liked Sage. Good, hopefully that means that she could pilot green if she needed to. On our way to the planet, I leave the cockpit and head to check on Sage. She was just sitting on the floor with tech pieces spread around her and extremely focused.
I'm about to go up to her to tap her on the shoulder to see how she is doing. When I get close enough green goes off telling me that we landed. I quickly grab some paper and write a note telling her that I was leaving and grab my Bayard running out of green.

*Time Skip to after the battle*

We ended up helping the Olkari. After we were done helping them I told the team that I would stay back awhile so I could pick their brains about their tech. Even though I wanted to pick their brains I was worried about Sage she hadn't moved since we got to the planet. But when I went back to get a piece of tech from the castle that I was curious about to keep a cover. She was getting up and I asked if she wanted to come with me since she had been in the lion for a long time and the paladins were gone.
When we found one of the head technicians and I asked them about what the tech I had was. They said it was a robot disrupter after about half of the explanation I got lost and just started listening and it seemed Sage was still picking their brain. I don't know how but she picked up where I got lost. Once I finally got to my senses I checked to see how long we had been talking. It was almost two hours. Crap, the team was going to kill me if I didn't check in soon. I pulled Sage out of the conversation and we thanked them for the info and headed towards the lion. We got back to the lion and headed back to the castle of lions and Sage filling me in on what I missed.
Once she had filled me in I went into the training room and told them about what I found out. By the time I was done explaining Lance was confused, Hunk and Keith were intrigued and Shiro was somewhat confused but was hiding it. After I sat down to watch Keith and Lance spar (and insult each other) I realized how tired I was and fell asleep.
