All was peaceful for a time, the energy of the festival died down to a trickle.

All those who were saved had fallen onto the floor, small bubbles of snot exiting their nose as they snore. Therefore giving the festival a close.

Akemi was the only one who remained awake, looking on at all the people, at this village, at this world as it opened itself to her glance.

So I really am in another world... none of the people here have ever heard of Japan, or really anything from home...

She had spent much of her time during this festival learning about this world. Her status as a Goddess gave her a perfect pretext to ask these questions.

The Kingdom of Re-Estize to the West and the Baharouth Empire to the East. But more importantly the places called the Slane Theocracy and the Roble Holy Kingdom, both strict believers in the Gods and the heavenly realm. Located South and South West respectively.

I should check those places out, it might be fun!

She got up from a bed, located in a room with no one else in it. It was to be her "Holy residence" for the time being, seeing as it was the best they could offer.

Grabbing the map laid out on the table, she threw it into the air.

"[Absorb]."

The map disappeared from sight. She had cast a spell on it, allowing one to take any knowledge from a physical item or living being and absorb it into her head.

This resulted in a map permanently within her mind, making any travel to be much less tedious.

She opened the door and danced her way around the crowd of sleeping bodies between her and the door to the outside, making sure not to awaken a single soul.

After what they've been through... they can really use some sleep.

The door opened and closed without the slightest of sounds, allowing her to safely exit.

She began to peek through her mind, locating the direction of the Slane Theocracy, the first kingdom on her list of places to explore.

So that way's East... so then that's south! I'll just go through the plains then. Shouldn't take me too long if I fly fast enough. Oh! And I guess I could test that out!!

"[Fly]."

She once again took to the skies, but this time stopped before advancing forward.

"[Equip Greater Item: Angel Wings]."

From her back came out a set of beautiful white wings, those clearly belonging to the divines. It's beauty and glimmer in this night sky shine for miles, enveloping everything in its comforting light.

"Ha! All that time spent finding these rare items, it wasn't for nothing after all!!"

She took a look around her as to say a final goodbye to the village, she didn't know when they would come to see one another again.

And it might have been a divine blessing that she did.

Within the dense covering of the forest becoming a radiant darkness, it was the essence of black which shone with brilliance.

W...what's that...?

She flew down towards the strange darkness, and what she had seen was something which reminded her of her last life. The [Gate] spell.

And from that spell came a single being. A tall creature covered in a royal black cloth, but once she saw his face, her body shook for a moment. There stood a skull, no flesh nor muscle, but pure white bone.

He walked out of the portal and saw the female knight in person.

"So I was right, it really is you! You're Ms. Sariel, am I correct?"

He seemed to be able to speak, yet held no vocal cords. She hesitated for a moment before opening her mouth.

"Oh my... Momonga, it has been quite some time!"

She illuminated a genuine smile to see him in this world, the very man she had formed a close bond with both inside and out of the game.

"Ms. Sariel, would you care to talk for a moment?"

"My my, I guess I wouldn't mind. It has been some time since I've been to the guild hall."

She entered the Gate behind the undead creature, her face filled with relief.

Once they exited, she found herself in a room. A luxurious room which would surpass even those of the most expensive hotels. At the corner, a flag representing the guild, Ainz Ooal Gown.

Two chairs sit facing one another with a small coffee table in between. Momonga gestured towards one of the chairs.

"Ms. Sariel, please do take a seat."

"I think I will, thank you Momonga. Or... well I suppose I should call you Satoru~ we aren't in the game any more."

"A-Akemi... whatever you want big sis..."

His face flustered for a moment, but a green aura seemed to stop his emotions and kept him calm.

"So it really is you Akemi... you were sucked into this world as well?"

"Mhm, I was just staring at the night sky when suddenly I noticed that the clock was past the shut down time. Then the next thing you know, I'm off to save a village."

"I see... so it really was the same as myself. But... why do you have those wings on...?"

"Oh, well that's a funny story. You see... I thought it would be fun to say I was a Goddess... haha~ And I have to look the part, don't I?"

Momonga presses his skull into the bones of his palm as a sigh escapes his breath.

"You always had the craziest ideas... but anyways sis... so why do you think we've been summoned here?"

"Huh? Don't ask me Sato, I don't have a clue. And honestly I don't care, I'm just happy to be here! The pretty night sky, the amazing fresh air, the delicious foods and drinks. It's nothing like home!"

"What...? You... you've gotta be kidding me... well... I mean I guess it's not that bad... but really sis...?"

She nodded her head, her smile blinding his hollow eyes.

"Well... I guess there's no helping it. Just keep on doing what you want and have fun... but if you ever need help, you know where to find me Akemi."

"I know I know, but I wanted to know. What are you gonna be doing Sato?"

He pressed his index finger to his chin, looking off into space.

"I... I think I'll look to see if any of the guild members are in this world as well... and I need to make sure Nazarick is safe and secure in this new world. You never know what might happen..."

Akemi yawned, stretching her arms out.

"You and you're guild, hmph... so not jealous..."

She mumbles the words under her breath, pouting.

"Well, this was nice and all... but I think I'm ready for an adventure! I just can't hold myself back to see this new world!! Send me slightly south of that village, alright Sato?"

"God... can't you give up 5 minutes for your brother... just don't get yourself killed sis. We don't know if we can revive in this world or what it would cost."

She nodded her head in understanding. After telling Momonga about some details of this world, he casted the [Gate] spell and watched as the young knight exited. His head filled with the happiness that someone was actually here alongside him.

I guess learning how to use that Mirror of Remote Viewing was very helpful.
