Her wings illuminated with a luxurious light, soaring through the darkness that enveloped the ever growing sky. The scent of the forest filling the air. Two figures crossed through this natural sea in what seemed a moment.

The humanoid figure softly turned to the other, "Gerald, do you happen to know anything of the Theocracy?"

The forest wyvern looked back upon the beauty of his goddess and answered with all the respect he could muster, "I only remember that they treated me quite terribly, I was born and raised there, even given a name. But from that time, all I learned about was how they hated the non-human species."

"I see... is that so. They may see a goddess as a threat then, as I am not a human myself." She took her index and placed it upon her chin, becoming more and more of a habit as the days passed. "Perhaps I should lower myself to that of a simple adventurer, in order to lower the risk of an attack. Yes! It would certainly be most humorous to see the looks on their face!"

And so it was decided, the goddess of justice would disguise herself for the pure joy of amusement. A being of this world would be unable to question the thoughts of such a higher being.

"I've come this way to adventure within and understand this world, after all, so let us have some fun!"

A delicate smile was brought upon her face, revealing to the world her excitement, unable to be controlled.

Adventure, journeys, new magic, new people, foods undiscovered, cultures and beliefs, all which interested Akemi. She would get to understand a world entirely different from that which she had grown used to.

And that which was part of an adventure, was all that she desired here. A world where everything had just been sitting at the edge of her tongue, and now she may swallow it all.

After a few moments of discussion had passed between the goddess and her new pet, she had finally flown beyond the great forest, her eyes filling with the scenery of small villages.

"And I suppose this would be the Slane Theocracy? Would that be correct Gerald?"

As the two began to land upon the grass and dirt of the ground, Gerald lowered himself to a position befitting a servant. "Indeed your holiness, I welcome you to the very outskirts of the Slane Theocracy. But it will still take us some time to reach the capitol."

She looked upon him and then back to the countless villages she's seen just moments ago. Unable to control herself, she began to race towards one of said villages. Her holy wings shining brightly in the morning glimmer of the sun.

"Cardinal Alderman! Cardinal Alderman!!" A petite woman came running through the temple doors, seemingly rendering them useless in her presence. Her golden blonde hair flew through the layers of seatings within the church. "We finally have some news!!"

It had been only a few days since the moment they were sent out, and for each and every moment of the day, the cardinal of light had been praying for such words to enter his ears.

"Claire, tell me immediately. What is it? Have we seen the goddess? Is she in the capitol? Perhaps she's already outside that door?" His voice giddy with excitement, staring so intently on the parchment within the woman's hand, one would think it would burst into a flame.

The woman opened the document and read upon his ears the secrets which it held. "There has been a rumor from the northern villages, bordering the great forest. Some say that the day before yesterday, a figure in black armor with wings made of gold had entered one of the villages." She closed the document and looked upon the Cardinal's face.

Filled with shock and unbelievable joy. She... she's actually here! The Goddess has finally blessed our lands!

"Prepare all accommodations, anything that could possibly be of desire! We may see a goddess within our walls soon!"

"As the holy God's command!" She bowed and quickly took off, as quick on her feet as she came in.

"As the holy Goddess commands." Alderman said quietly, looking up upon the painting within his church.

The light of a Goddess overtaking the darkness.
