Following the five other cardinals, the Cardinal of light, Alderman, exited the room. He turned to his left, walking through a hallway. Upon its walls were religious paintings depicting the deeds of the six Gods. The tale of the mighty battle, humanity versus the demon kings.

He exited the hallway and found his carriage immediately before him on the road, ready for his return.

He entered into the luxury of the carriage and made his way to one of six great temples in the Theocracy, the place he called his home.

"Sire, I take it that it's good news."

The man opposite of the Cardinal in the carriage spoke. His cloth white as the Cardinal, a symbol of the light which they spread to their followers. It is the clothing assigned to any serving under the Holocaust Scripture.

"Oh Gerald, it's magnificent news! I believe this country is to have a spiritual reawakening soon!"

"That sounds wonderful, sire. I could not hope for better news!"

The two men held smiles, filled with the purity of faith. To them, this was the most important subject of life, and to spread it is to share one's soul with another.

Alderman pieces out towards the window, looking towards the many citizens going through their daily lives, heading to work, meeting with friends, shopping, it looked to be a peaceful time for this nation.

But the signs of war hadn't been unnoticed. Elven slaves thrown onto the streets and publicly humiliated, at times even abused or killed. Multiple sets of soldiers patrolling the roads at all times. War time propaganda depicting the inhuman nature of the elves.

One need not look far to see what the theocracy had been occupied with.

The carriage comes to a stop before a luxurious temple, devoted to the God of light and purity. It was the members of this sect who were responsible for the elimination of any and all non-human species, thus named the Holocaust Scripture.

The door to the carriage was opened by a priestess, held in the same garments of the men in the carriage. Alderman took a step out and walked up the stairs to the temple, entering.

"Priests and Priestesses of the Holocaust Scripture are to remain in this room. All those who are not, I ask to leave for a moment. I have important matters to discuss."

Within a few minutes, all members of the Holocaust Scripture were sitting on tables, typical of a church, while any regular citizens had been escorted out.

Every member is ready to receive the holy words, gifted to them by their high priest.

"I now believe it to be confirmed, the existence of a true goddess among this realm."

Every member lay silent, thief jaws dropped as their eyes struggle to close from being opened so wide.

Murmurs and mumbled peeking around from all corners of the temple.

"A... a real goddess?!"
"No way!"
"I can't believe it... I might get to see a true goddess..."

Words as these wafted through the room, catching every ear it could find.

"We are yet to be certain of the whereabouts of this Goddess, if any of you are to hear even a rumor, we must act on it. Following this, we have received the task of preparing accommodations for her holiness. As such, gather all the marble and gold you are able to find. I plan to build her an abide worthy of a Goddess."

The members immediately disperse from the temple, throughout the capital city of the theocracy. A single member remains in the temple, Gerald.

"Sire, shall prepare a few high class elves for the Goddess?"

He takes a moment to ponder the thought and comes to a conclusion.

"Let's prepare a few to be ready in a moment's notice, but we must first understand the Goddess's beliefs. If she were to view us gifting her Demi-humans as an act of disloyalty... I wouldn't want to think of such a thing. I will make sure to find her stance on elven slaves."

"Yes Sire, then I shall make the preparation immediately."

Gerald walks away, leaving Alderman to his thoughts.

I wonder what sort of person this Goddess is...
