It was a hell of ride but in the end I am glad it could reach the conclusion just like I wanted to without giving away any necessary details!
Ethan has reached its destination but the end reverts in Open Heart which I am sure you all are aware by now.
Things change for Ethan and for Charlotte. They are brought closer but duty separates them. And then fate brings them back, this time to stand against all odds together to turn the tide of scales in each other's favor.
Ethan wasn't planned. But I am damn glad it did happen. It gave me an insight to explore this majestic character and write a connecting link to my books which are in the same universe or which would be(psst! A lot).
Another point. I know in the Choices, nothing like that happens. Ethan is not connected to Nik or Nightbound or Aiden and Kamilah from Bloodbound. But here, I have brought them all together for a story waiting to be told from the eyes of these characters who have left us dreaming against the dark until we are nothing more than dust!
Yes, more books from Choices are coming. I have already written It Lives in the Woods and yes, we will see more of Ethan...plenty more of him in fact because this isn't it.
But Open Heart and Ethan might have ended, but the story continues on in...

I knew the moment I had stepped into Edenbrook Hospital in Boston, everything would change.

As I began my second year as a Fellow in the remarkable and gifted Diagnostic Department led by Dr. Ethan Ramsey, I was never prepared for the cases which would be hauled at me within limit time. The only thing which was keeping me bound was the man I had fallen in love and the friends who are constantly by my side.
Among that, something weird was happening to me. That near death accident didn't leave me completely intact and if I wouldn't figure it out sooner, I may go insane. Added to that, Ethan is keeping secrets. Such secrets which I fear have terrible consequences regarding the gift both of us have for each other. He is my only support in the department but something tells me there's a lot that it meets the eyes.
Deep down, I knew I had made enemies who were at the top notch places with abilities to make people simply disappear. There's something bigger going on for decades and either everyone are turning blind eyes or they don't know. This makes the lines between the enemy and friends blurred out of proportion. And the involvement of my dead cousin is not helping. Sylvan wouldn't have wanted me to poke my nose in these stuff. He died keeping such secrets.
But I was a doctor and my duty was to save lives. And I would do whatever it takes to make sure that will be the order from now on.
