After all this time? (Sequel to Why Now?)

Reunited again

Gabe smiled as little Gabe ran around chasing Lori.
"Mommy, slow down!"
Lori laughed and bumped into Gabe.
"Yes! Hold her Daddy!" Gabe froze and stared at him.
Lori smiled and held her arms open for her son. Little Gabe jumped into them and kissed her cheek.
"Everyone's at home waiting for us." Lori said.
Gabe looked at her shocked as she buckled Little Gabe into his car seat. Lori turned back around and tilted her head.
"You okay?"
"You said 'at home' and he called me 'daddy.' " Lori rolled her eyes laughing.

Little Gabe had fallen asleep during the car ride and Lori was half asleep. Gabe smiled and stared at her.
How the hell did I get so lucky?
Lori yawned and said "I'm not sure."
Gabe chuckled and realized he had said that out loud. They got out and started heading inside. Lori helped Gabe take their son up to his room.
"He sleeps by himself?"
"Yes, unless he has a nightmare or he knows I'm sad." She smiled as she tucked him in.
Gabe nodded and they headed back to the living room.
"Lori!" She was tackled to the floor by two bodies.
"Cassidy, Natalia, Don't break her!" Dana yelled.
They giggled and stood back up. She stared at her two old friends. Cassidy had stayed the same and Natalia had grown at least an inch taller.
"You okay?" Cassidy asked.
"I'm fine... just... shocked." Lori smiled.
The next two hours consisted of laughter and catching up. Shawn who had practically jumped lori the same way his mother did, was now asleep on her lap. Cole got up and took his son back.
"We have to go. Its getting late and we have a meet and greet in the morning." He sighed.
"Come on old timer. You can still do it." Cassidy teased.
"Hey I may be getting a little older, but I can still make you scr-"
"Okay time to go!" Lori stood up.
They laughed and the one by one started to leave.
"Girls day tomorrow?"
"We'll have Shawn and Lil Gabe though..." Natalia said.
"We can watch them. Kyle isn't working and I'm off work tomorrow anyway. Gives us a chance to hang with our other nephew." Eli said.
"That's perfect!" Cassidy hugged us and left following Cole who was already halfway to the elevator.
"Goodnight Eli, Kyle, Lori." Natalia said skipping away.
Will laughed and shrugged skipping after her. David was on the phone arguing with someone.
"Don't worry. He'll be fine." Dana said pulling her into a hug.
"Oh I always have to worry when it comes to you guys." She sighed.
They left half an hour later and Eli was passed out on the couch with Kyle snuggled into his side.
"I guess I should get going too..." Gabe said standing up.
She bit her lip and debated whether or not to let him stay. She wanted him to but also didn't want him to. He opened the door and pulled her in for a kiss. She responded and wrapped her arms around him.
She couldn't control herself when it came to Gabe. So when she heard the door shut and his lips on hers and her soft mattress under her... she knew she was under his control. She just hoped she didn't regret it.
