After all this time? (Sequel to Why Now?)

Stay the hell away from my son!

Lori was walking around Walmart with Little Gabe in the cart and Shawn walking next to them.
"Why I have to be here?" Little Gabe pouted.
Cassidy laughed and picked up Shawn placing him in her cart. "Mommy!" Lori rolled her eyes chuckling and grabbed a pack of soda.
"Okay so I have the meat, the buns, the chips-"
"I got the sodas and dip." Gabe nodded and wrapped his arms around Lori.
"Dude! We need to leave... like right now!" Dana said running into the cart.
"Dana we still need lettuce and tomatoes and-"
"NOW LORI!" Everyone froze. Dana had never yelled at Lori before. He hated that he raised his voice at a girl especially Lori. He was only trying to protect her for pain.
"Okay." They all turned and headed back down the aisle and towards the cashier.
As they unloaded everything Dana saw HER peek a glance and smirk. He groaned and Natalia stared at him weirdly. Gabe tried to figure out what had Dana in such a tight mood and looked around for something that could have caused it.
"More like someone." Cole said.
They both looked over and saw Alex taking glances around and smile when she saw them staring at her.
"Hey, can you hurry up." Gabe said.
"Hey, calm down. What crawled up your butt?" Cassidy asked.
"Yeah come on Gabe. First Dana and now yo-"
"Hey Gabe!" They all turned and saw Alex smiling.
"What are you doing here?" Natalia glared.
"I'm just here to buy some stuff for my party tonight. Oh Gabe, you should stop by. Corbin's been asking about you since you left out of the blue."
"We were taking a road-"
"Anyway... who's this little guy?" Alex said cutting off Will and pinching little Gabe's cheek.
"Ow!" Lori pulled Alex's hand off of him and pushed her away.
"What the hell you bitch!" Alex got closer and reached for him again. Lori pushed her away and slapped her. Alex held her cheek and stared at Lori.
"Stay the hell away from my son." Alex chuckled.
"Who had the balls to knock you up? No correction, who would want to be with you?" Gabe held Lori back as Cole and Will did the same with Cassidy and Natalia.
"Leave them alone. Just go away and leave us all alone. Nobody wants you." Shawn said.
Cole smirked and Cassidy pulled him closer as Alex glared at him.
"Daddy..." Everyone turned back to little Gabe.
Lori frowned and pulled him out of the cart. Gabe sighed and rubbed his back.
Alex looked from both Lori and Gabe to the little boy in Lori's arms. He was Gabe's... that meant... they did it after everything had happened. She cursed and mentally slapped herself for thinking that her plan had worked.
"Go to the car and take the kids. The boys and I will get the rest." Lori nodded and started walking out with the girl with Will following after them.
Dana stood in his spot as Cole and Gabe paid for the stuff. Alex stool a step towards Gabe but Dana stepped in front of her. She scoffed and tried pushing him but he didn't budge.
"Move!" Dana stood still as Gabe and Cole loaded the cart.
"She's very scary..." the cashier whispered.
Cole laughed "You have no idea."
They left with Alex trailing behind them. She tried keeping up but her heels were too long and she couldn't run.
"Look, just promise you'll come tonight and I'll leave." Gabe turned and glared.
"I'll go tonight, for Corbin. And Lori's coming with me." She frowned but nodded.
They put everything into the trunks and got into their cars. Lori glared at Gabe as Dana hopped in the back staring at a sleeping little Gabe. They pulled out of the parking lot and started their way back to the apartment. Gabe could feel Lori's eyes burning a hole in his face.
"What?" He asked as they came to a red light.
"I'm not going tonight."
"Oh yes you are."
"No I'm not. I don't want to be anywhere SHE is. I don't want her near me or my son or-"
"You forgave me already didn't you! So enough with this jealousy shit, it's getting old already. It's in the fucking past now! I cheated, get over it! I could have done a lot worse and you know it." Gabe faced her and glared.
Dana looked out the window and Lori looked away. Gabe sighed and drove off again following Cole's car. They got back after 20 minutes of complete awkward silence. Dana jumped out of the car and started taking in bags. Lori got out and unbuckled little Gabe while Gabe helped the boys.
"Lori... you okay?" Cassidy asked.
She walked passed her and laid little Gabe in his bed. Lori closed the door and leaned against it.
"No." She walked back out and saw everyone in the kitchen and Shawn falling asleep on the couch.
"Hey Lori, what do you want on your burger?" Kyle asked.
She stood still replaying what Gabe had said in the car. Cassidy called her name again and looked towards Cole.
"Lori-"
"I may have forgiven you and all the shit you did to me... to us. But that doesn't mean I can erase EVERYTHING from my memory. " She looked at Gabe. "I said I'm not going to that fucking party. And that's final. I'm going to stay home, and eat with my family-"
"Lori stop-"
"We ALWAYS have Sunday dinner with each other because I'm off and so is Eli. I will NOT let you or anyone else ruin a tradition that we started. I'm staying home." Gabe sighed and set down his plate.
"You can go if you want," He nodded and picked up a pickle. "But if you walk out that door to go to that party inside of staying here and spending time with your SON... then don't expect me to up waiting for you to come home. Don't expect anything from me." Dana wiped away the year that had fallen.
"I'm not hungry." Cassidy took Lori's hand and lead her to the back.
Cole, Will and Natalia looked towards Gabe as Dana walked out to the living room. He sat down and stared at the floor. Kyle jumped down from the counter and said that he was going to rent a movie. Eli nodded in agreement and went with him.
"You wanted her back and you got her. Now that Alex is back-"
"I'm not getting back with her. It's just a stupid party."
"Exactly, it's a stupid party. Yet, you're still going." Natalia left and went to the girls.
Gabe growled and got up slamming the door as he headed outside. He kicked the wall and punched the tree.
"Fuck!" He got Into the car and drive off.
