Lori sighed and looked down at her beautiful creation. She couldn't believe that it had happened and she didn't even know.
Eli and Kyle came into the room and smiled, placing her food tray on the bed.
"So how is he?" Kyle asked.
"Hungry." Lori chuckled looking up.
"Are you... You know." Eli asked.
Lori knew what he meant. She had fought with herself for two months trying to figure out whether she should call Gabe up and tell him.
"No. I know it'll only cause more trouble, and the boys don't need that right now. We are fine on our own." Lori said.
"You won't be alone. We aren't leaving you two alone." Eli leaned over and kissed her head.
They got up and left, closing the door. Lori got up and dialed his number. She placed him inside his crib.
Come on, don't let me down.
"Hello?" A girl asked.
"H-hi is um... is Gabe there?" Lori asked.
"Not at the moment. He's in the shower. May I ask who's calling?" The girl giggled.
"No one important."
"Oh well... do you want me to give him a message?"
"No." Lori hung up the phone and threw it at the wall.
She knew she shouldn't have been mad. He had to move on at some point. She wiped away the tears that slid down her face. She groaned and sat back on the bed.
"It's okay, mi corazon. We'll be fine." She finished eating her lunch and took a small nap with him.

After three hours, she woke up to crying. She shot up and rocked her little baby.
"Shh my love. You're okay, Mommy's here." She hummed.
She walked to her computer and played the song. She fought back the tears and opened the balcony door. Stepping out into the cool night, with her baby, and memories, Lori knew she had to move on too.
She looked down and saw that he was falling back asleep.
"Yeah, you're daddy's voice always calmed me down too." She kissed his head and listened as Gabe's voice sang.
"I'll protect you, My little Gabe." She went back inside, closing the doors and laid in bed with little Gabe.
"My baby." She placed him inside his little bed and held onto his hand.
She closed her eyes, letting darkness consumer her.
