Miles turns around with quick speed, only to find.. nothing.

"Flora.. I think you're hallucinating.. there's no one there." Miles says.

"No, Miles. She's right behind you. You can't see her?" Flora asks.

Y/n turns around, but doesn't see anything either.

She can only feel cold breath on her neck.

She tensed up and got scared.

"M- Miles..? I can feel her breathing.." Y/n says.

Miles squints at her.

"Y/n. There's no one behind us." He says. "See?" Miles waves his hand behind y/n, and something touches it.

Miles gasps.

He slowly reaches for the space behind y/n, and his hand touches something wet.

But there's nothing there.

He can just feel something wet.. and no one can see it but Flora.

Miles looks at his hand.

"Wh- why is my hand wet..?" He asks.

"You remember how Ms. Jessel died right?" Flora looks at Miles.

"No.." Miles replies.

"Yeah you do, Miles. She was drowned. So her ghost is wet." Flora explains.

"That makes literally no sense, Flora." Miles says.

"Well explain the wet air you just touched, Miles." Flora crosses her arms.

Miles looks down

"Then that means.."

Miles looks up with the most worry on his face.

"We have to leave. Now!" He exclaims.

He grabs y/n and flora's hands and runs out of the cabin.

"M- miles where are we going?!" Y/n asks.

"We have to go, if what Flora's saying is true, we have to get as far away from Ms. Jessel as possible!" Miles explains.

"Miles, no! She's nice! She's the one who's taken care of me for all this time." Flora protests.

"How is that possible?? She's a ghost! The only thing she can do is haunt you, or take over your body, Flora. There's no way she can take care of you!" Miles says.

They run.

so long to the point to where their legs get tired.

Y/n turns around to see if someone's chasing them or not.

But no one is.

"Miles, nothing is behind us. Why are we still running?" Y/n asks.

"We haven't reached the spot yet. Just wait a bit, we'll be there soon." He replies.

They run for a couple more minutes, until Miles stops in his tracks and stares in front of him.

"..Miles?" Y/n hesitates.

"It's.. gone.." he mumbles.

"What's gone?" Y/n looks to see a lot of broken wood and furniture. It looks like a house that's been demolished.

"The demon.."

"He got here before us.."

"He knows where we are"
