Flora's pov.

-

I stumble through the woods, trying to find my brother.

I want to call out his name, but i know better than to attract attention.

Especially in the woods.

I keep running until I see one of Miles' hideouts.

I found it when I was playing with my dolls one day.

I run over to it and trip on a rock.

My head hits the door and creates a loud thud.

-

Miles' pov.

-

I grab a sharp, long object and hold it like a bat as I go towards the door.

Y/n sits up and stares at it.

I hold the door knob for a second before yanking it open at lightning speed.

I look down to see a little figure, faced down on my doorstep.

I put the sharp thing down and drag the girl into the house by her hands.

I close the door and turn to the girl.

"Who is that?" Y/n asks me.

"I don't know.." I reply before turning her over.

I swear I almost fainted at the sight.

My little sister was right there.

In front of me.

In my arms again.

-

I've been waiting for a while.

I already sat her up on a couch and covered her with my favorite blanket.

Then she starts to open her eyes.

"MILES!" Flora screams as she leaps into my arms, breaking down in tears as we held each other tight.

"Flora.." I cry.

Y/n sits there, cupping her own face as she admires this reunion.

"Flora, I thought.. I thought you were.." I start.

"Yeah, I think I had a temporary cobra..!" She says.

I smile.

"Coma, Flora. Not Cobra." I pat her head.

"Well.. Cobras are better. They're so scary and unpredictable." She says.

"So are comas." I squint.

She just looks at me for a second before turning to y/n.

"Hi Miss! I'm Flora.. who are you?" Flora asks her.

"I- uh- I'm y/n, Miles' friend." Y/n smiles.

I look down.

Guess I forgot to ask her out, huh.

Now's not the time. I can do that later.

"Oh!" Flora goes over and sits next to y/n. "Then if you're a friend of my brother's, you're a friend of mine!"

Y/n smiles.

"Flora.. what happened to you?" I ask.

"What do you mean?" She asks.

"After you passed out in my arms, where and when did you wake up?" I ask.

"I woke up about 3 months ago." She says.

"WHAT?" My eyes go wide.

"Yeah, Ms. Jessel watched over me." She says.

"Flora.. Ms. Jessel is dead." I try to convince her.

"No she isn't." Flora says.

"She's right there."
