"Do you know who that is?" Makena asked.
"N-no. I don't." Stuttered Rosa.
"Yup. He definitely likes you." Mikaylah said, like she was annoyed.
"Do you like him?" Addie asked Rosa. "I mean, he is kinda cute."
"I've never seen him before. How could I like him?" Rosa said.
"Yeah. She's smart. Here Rosa listen to me. Don't date him. Noah is one of those people who pretend to love you and then leave you in the dust to cry alone." Mikaylah bellowed quietly.
"How do you know?" Rosa asked curiously.
"Trust me."
Rosa shrugged and moved on. Lunch was almost over anyways. They threw their lunch trash away and left for 5th period.
They all walked in a blob towards their lockers. "You can always sit with us when you want to." Gracie told Rosa. Rosa nodded. They went their separate ways to their own lockers. Rosa took out the piece of paper with her locker combination and open her locker. There was a note.
Should I open this? Rosa thought. Probably should.
"Dear newbie,
I know your a sophomore and I'm a senior, but maybe we can hangout sometime. Maybe?
Sincerely, Noah Norman."
This guy. She thought. Then the tardy bell rang.
Shoot. Mom is not going to be happy when she figures out I was late to one of my class on the first day. Rosa thought. But then, she smiled.
