Aurora's POV

Dean and Sam gave me my own room in the Bunker. "You can decorate it however you want." Sam told me. I don't know what to do with it so for now it remains plain. There is a bed and a dresser and a nightstand with a clock on it. I lay down on the bed and let out a huge sigh. I had slept some on the drive over here. Dean says that the demon almost had me open a Gate of Hell for him, so it was understandable that I was tired. I felt myself needing sleep again so I get into my bed.

When I slipped off to sleep I had a strange dream. I was in a room with the man I saw with Mother. He was in a room with a big table full of snacks and candy. "Hello Aurora." He greeted me and patted at a chair next to him. "Who are you?" I asked him. I didn't sit down. "Come now, my little Smartie. You know who I am." He says with that same smirk on his face.

He has energy like an angel, but stronger, and it felt similar to mine. "Father?" The man smiles, a big, genuine smile. "Daughter." He grins. "Please, sit. Have a snack." I tentatively grab a bag of gummy worms and sit down. "Why do people keep asking me who you are?" I ask him. Please, I need some answers.

"Because they're afraid." He says. "But don't worry. I'm one of the good guys. Even helped the Winchesters out of more than a couple of scrapes." He knows Sam and Dean? "What is your name?" I ask him. I have to know. "Fine Smartie, I'll tell you..." he sighs. "My name is Gabriel. And I am more than an angel. I am an archangel. Which means that you are so, so special."

"You have to be careful now. Do you understand? Even though I do my best to make good decisions I still make enemies. And if they find out about you they might come out to hurt you to get to me. Understand?" "Yes Father." I tell him. "Please, call me Dad. No need to be formal with me." He says. "Okay...Dad." I comply. Dad...I have a dad. Like Sam and Dean.

I open the bag of gummy worms and start eating them with a smile. Dad smiles too. "You've got a sweet tooth like your old man." He says. "Will I ever see you?" I ask. "I don't know Smartie." He answers. "Right now a lot of people think that I'm dead. And I'd like to keep it that way as long as possible." I nod, understanding. He wants us both to stay out of trouble.

"I have to go now Aurora. You understand, right? You're my little Smartie." I nod. The longer he keeps this connection with me the more likely the angels could find us. Dad snaps his fingers and I wake up with a start.

I almost wish that I didn't. Soon after I woke up I started hearing those voices again, they still hurt a little, but this time they weren't angry. I could hear them a little more clearly. Castiel is dead. The archangel Lucifer killed him. He's dead. I hear from multiple voices that range from sounding sad to glad to scared. Castiel is dead? No, this can't be....

I start to cry, really cry, I can't stop it this time. My guardian, who protected my mother then protected me, is gone forever. Who knows where. I don't know where angels go when they die. Should I tell Sam? Maybe he will understand. I hear a knock on the door and Sam's voice asking, "Hey, are you okay?"

I get off of the bed, wipe the tears from my face and open the door. I look up at Sam's eyes, which look worried. "What's wrong?" He asks me. I have to tell him, I can't keep it back, "He's dead..." I say quietly. "Who? Who is dead Aurora?" He asks gently. "Castiel..."

Sam's eyes widen. "How do you know that?" He asks me. "I heard it...I heard it on the angel radio." I answer him. "He's gone! Some archangel named Lucifer killed him..." Sam looks sad and I feel badly for telling him. "How about a cup of cocoa?" He asks me.

"Huh?" I've never had this 'cocoa'. "It's a warm drink. It's nice to have when going through a hard time. Come on, let's go to the kitchen." I follow Sam to a room in the bunker that has an oven, a stovetop, cabinets, and a fridge freezer. There's a table with chairs. "Sit down. I'll make it." Sam tells me.
