Aurora's POV

I knew Castiel wanted the best for me by leaving me with these people but I feel strange with him gone. He has always been with me since I was born and my mother died. I look at the two men in front of me from under my curly honey brown hair and they look at me. We are quiet for a time, I could feel tension in the silence. The tall, shaggy one says, "Sit down. We'll get to know each other."

I see the Tall one sitting in a chair and the Dean one sitting on one of the beds. Seeing that there are no more chairs, but that there is one more bed, I sit on top of it, crossing my legs under me. The Dean one looks at me strangely. The Tall one talks again. "My name is Sam, and this here is my brother, Dean. What's your name?"

"Aurora." I reply. The two look at me as if expecting something more. "What? That is the name my mother chose." Why do they keep staring at me as if expecting me to say something more?

"Okay...Aurora, how old are you?" Sam asks.

"One day, fifteen hours, and fifty-seven minutes."  I say as I look around the room some more, I keep getting distracted by the newness of everything. I know things from when I was with Mother, but it's different now.

"Then how come you aren't a baby...and can speak English?" Dean asks.

"Mother said that this world is a dangerous place. That is why I couldn't be a baby or a child. I had to grow up fast...And Mother taught me things, when I was still a part of her." I don't mind their questions, I have a feeling that they have never met someone like me before. "How old are you?" I ask them. I'm curious.

But as I say this there is a knock at the door. The men both pull out strange metal things, like Castiel's blade but different. All of a sudden I hear this painful ringing sound with distorted voices in my head. I groan and fall back into the bed covering my ears although it doesn't help.

I can't really tell what is happening, the sound is blurring and muffling my other senses. I feel a kind of energy roll off of me. Everything after seems to go in slow motion. All of a sudden I feel a pain in me, and soon after the ringing is gone.

I rub my eyes and sit up, looking down to see a blade poking out of me. It looks like Castiel's blade. It feels uncomfortable so I pull it out. Sam and Dean look at me concerned, I think I was supposed to be hurt. But I wasn't.

Winchester POV

Dean and Sam look at the girl. She looks normal enough. Her honey brown hair hung in curls, some of them covering her face. She stands there, waiting for something. Her hazel eyes seem to see right into them. There's tension in the air as the bothers don't know what to make of her. Sam decides to break the silence. "Sit down. We'll get to know each other." He tells her.

She looks around for a place to sit and finds the empty bed to sit on. Sam smiles as he sees the curiousness in her eyes. He looks to Dean who seems to be searching for something about her saying that she's evil. "My name is Sam, and this here is my brother, Dean. What's your name?" He asks her.

"Aurora." She says. I wonder what her last name is. Sam wonders. He looks to Dean who seems to be wondering the same thing. "What? That is the name my mother chose." She says, seeming defensive.

"Okay...Aurora, how old are you?" Sam asks. "One day, fifteen hours, and fifty-seven minutes." Is the reply. Holy shit. How the hell is she up and walking and looking like she's maybe nineteen? She keeps looking around and now it's Dean's turn to ask a question.

"Then how come you aren't a baby...and can speak English?" He asks. Aurora looks at him and he starts to wonder if she's manipulating them for evil intentions.

"Mother said that this world is a dangerous place. That is why I couldn't be a baby or a child. I had to grow up fast...And Mother taught me things, when I was still a part of her." Dean looks to Sam who seems to be soaking it all up.

"How old are you?" She asks them but before they can answer there's a knock on the door. The brothers both pull out their guns. Aurora suddenly falls back on to the bed, her hands covering her ears and her face twisted in pain. Dean opens the door revealing a man and a woman, both in suits. Their eyes glow blue. Immediately the men drop their guns and take fighting stances because guns are no use against angels.

"We have found the child." The woman says and steps forward, her angel blade in her hand. Sam tries punching her but she's very strong. Dean goes after the other one. The woman knocks Sam against a wall and he sees Aurora writhing in pain on the bed. As Dean is busy fighting the man the woman kicks and punches Sam while he is still on the ground.

A kind of energy seems to roll from Aurora, and the woman falls against the wall, hard. Sam takes her angel blade and drives it through her chest. With a flash of bright light, she dies. He gets up and goes to Aurora's side, and sees that her eyes are glowing a kind of gold color. The man rams his head up against Dean's face, stunning him. "I see that you are protective of the Abomination." The angel says.

"Why the hell do you keep calling her that? What has she done to you?" Dean gasps. What on earth has this girl done to get angels wanting to gank her ass so bad?

"It's a shame you couldn't protect her like you promised." The man slams his blade into Aurora's chest. Dean looks up and without a second thought picks up the blade from his fallen comrade and slams it into his chin and through his skull. The angel screams and with a flash of bright light, he dies.

Dean goes to Aurora who sits up rubbing her eyes. They are no longer glowing and have gone back to their normal hazel color. "You're going to be okay, just take it easy." He tells her. They see her look down at the angel blade sticking out of her chest, then watch in shock as she takes it out, the wound closing and healing quickly. Dean is immediately alarmed. What kind of thing has Castiel dropped into their lives?
