"John!!!"
The raven hair male turned around to have his eyes meet with the magenta haired goddess, who had recently lost her powers.
"S-Sera! I've been trying to reach you for forever!! I'm glad you're oka-"
"Yes, I'm fine. But that's not the reason why I'm here. We need to talk."
A pang of grief shot through John's heart. His eyes shut immediately trying to hold back tears. It was just like new Boston all over again. He felt a hand grasp his shoulder tightly and looked up.
"I know you're joker."
"L-Listen I can explain!-"
"No, you listen!!!! How could you lie about this for so long?! I thought we were friends!!! Friends don't lie about stuff like this!!! I looked up to you!! And most of all trusted you!!!" She looked down, withdrawing her hand. " I-I.... I trusted you..."
John ran over to her and hugged her tightly not even holding back the tears anymore. "I know!!! But... I... I couldn't!! I couldn't let it happen again! I didn't want to be alone again I didn't-" he paused. "I didn't want to be a monster again...."
Empathy filled the magenta haired girl's eyes. She still felt hurt but was more open to listening to him. "I'm sorry.... I.... didn't know what you were going through... but still..." Sera's voice quivered with every word. "But still I have feelings too!!"
"I-I-I'm sorry.... I just.... I didn't want you to think.... that I would hurt you... I couldn't let myself! I had to keep the monster in... the true me... I-"
Seraphina hugged him tightly. " I'm sorry.."
"What do you have to be sorry for?" He looked at her confused.
"I was being selfish... I didn't want to listen to you. I shut myself away and hurt the people around me.... I still feel that I need to get that out, but... still, it felt selfish."
John looked down at her and smiled softly. "It's alright. That's absolutely normal... I overreacted too...." he wiped away the tears from his eyes. "Thank you... you truly are the best friend anyone could ever ask for."

WELP I'M NOT REALLY GOOD AT CONFRONTATION SCENES BUT I HOPE I DID OKAY XDDDD Anyways this prologue is just so you can get an idea of how my telling of UnOrdinary ended.
