There was a lot of things about Andy that confused Rye. How he'd never tried ice cream or how he'd never seen a movie. How he'd stare off into space with a hurt look on his face then claim that he was fine.
Rye of course never pushed him to tell him, but it worried him the more it happened. When they went near the dock, Andy never left land. He'd come up with an excuse about why he couldn't and Rye let it slide.
He'd also been glued to Ryes books about Merpeople. Always reading before bed, sometimes in the middle of the night. Sometimes bringing it to the dinner table to read while eating. Hue didn't see the problem with it, Rye having had been like that a long time ago but it just confused Rye.
But what bothered Rye the most was how Andy had basically knitted himself to Brook. He'd cuddle up with him every chance he got. Brook loved it as much as he did, Rye could tell which made him a little more upset. Andy was his cuddle buddy not Brooks.
"I've got to go guys, mom wants me" Brook says getting up from his cuddling spot with Andy. Andy whined at the loss of the familiar feeling. Brook giggles a little, leaning down to place a friendly kiss on his cheek. "Bye Andy, Bye Rye" Brook says as he heads out the door.
"Can you guys come over Friday?" Brook asks since he'd have to work the rest of the week. Andy nodded immediately, Rye nodding with a slight frown on his face still upset. "Great, see ya later" He announces going out the door again. "Bye brooky" Andy tells after him getting a yell of goodbye back making him giggle.
Andy had then noticed Rye laying back in his bed with his arms crossed. He was facing away from Andy's sight making Andy pout. He crawled up beside him, placing his arms on his shoulders and leaning over to see his face was also in a pout.
"What's wrong Rye?" He asks, his fluffy blond hair hanging down in from of his eyes. Rye pouts more moving his face away from him in a childish manner. Andy follows him only to get turned away from again.
"Are you mad at me?" Andy finally gathers from the silent treatment he was receiving. Rye only nodded, his head still turned away from him. "Well what did I do?" Andy asks in confusion as he sat up in the bed. The basketball shirts he wore riding up, almost covered by Ryes pink hoodie he was wearing.
"You haven't cuddled with me all day" Rye finally lets out, crossing his arms once again. He'd uncrossed them to to make wild hand gestures. Andy thinks about it then frowns as he realized he was right, he hadn't. He'd been so wrapped of in the familiarity of Brook that he'd completely forgotten about Rye.
"I'm sorry" Andy says, crawling back toward him to give him a hug. Rye didn't hug back for a second, still upset that he'd been forgotten but soon gave in. Rye could never stay mad at anyone for long, Andy added to the list. Although, he could never be mad at the beautiful blond.
"Cuddle and a movie?" Rye asks, holding out his arms. Andy nodded, crawling in beside him and snuggling onto his chest. "The Little mermaid?" Rye asks as he switches on his TV, Andy nodding once again.
He started to draw shapes in his chest as the movie started, one of them being a heart. Rye let him continue, liking the feeling and it being too adorable to make him stop. Andy drew one last heart into his chest before kissing it making Rye heart warm.
