It's been almost 3 weeks since me and Jailah have spoken At this point I don't even know if we are together or not. I was back home because it was Winter break, one semester down so many more to go. Shawty didn't even say bye to me.. it's just been awkward, I always go to sleep with my lil mama on the phone or next to me
and now that we haven't spoken I haven't gotten any sleep. I really want to go fly down there to surprise and make it up to her but I don't wanna waste my time.
"Tee tee come here!" My mama yelled from up the stairs
I got off my bed and headed downstairs to the living room to see her, a couple of her friends and some man.
"Yes mama." I said as I walked towards her
"I'm going out soon and won't be back until the day after tomorrow, I left you and your brother some money, food, and a couple of other things."
As she was talking to me the man that was with her was mean mugging me like fuck wrong with this man.
"Yo is there a problem." I said dismissing the other stuff my mother said
"Nah youngin."
"Well what you starring at?" I said as I pulled my pants up
"Dante don't be rude this is Ryan. Ryan this is my oldest son Dante. Now both y'all be nice."
Ryan put his hand out to shake mine but I just starred him down. I know my nama grown and shit but she didn't need to be dating nobody and I wasn't feeling his vibe.
"Dante, you being rude shake his damn hand." She said trying not to be loud.
I sucked my teeth and shook his hand without leaving the eye contact that we were giving each other. It was getting real intense in the room that my mothers friends started coughing and making small noises to get our attention back on them. I ain't like this dude he came off wrong from the jump.
We let go of each others hands and I made my attention back to my mother. "I already said bye to Zaire, he is over at that lil girl house make sure he is home by 10."
I nodded my head to assure her I was listening but my mind was not focused on anything she was saying . "Mane Dante are you listening to me??" My momma asked
"Yes ma'am"
"No you not boy.... you and Jailah still not talking?" I've been keeping my mother up to date on all the bs that was going on with us and she's been helpful with a lot of advice.. she basically said that if it was meant to be then it will happen and if I truly didn't do anything with that girl and if Jailah trusted me she would get over it. Which was true
"Well I'll talk to her momma she gonna come apologize to my son or you can go to her it's up to you.. just let me know. I love you Tee I'll see you in two days."
I hugged her and kissed her and she went on her way. I went back to my room and decided to hop on 2k with the bro's. I texted the chat and told the bro's to go online.
"Yooo y'all cheating.." I said into the mic
"Nah bro you just ass" Rod said while laughing
"Yeah I gotta agree with Rod on this one." Chris said
"Babeeee get the fuck off the game and take me out." I heard Aaliyah say in the background
"Yeah you better go lil boy, before you get that ass beat." I said to Rod
"Ite yo I'll hit y'all later." Rod said then hung up and got off the game
He got off the game and it was only me and Chris on the game. We played in silence for a while because we were so focused. The silence finally broke when Chris asked me about Jailah. I told him we still haven't spoke in a while.
