Christmas Day, 6am
"Dante and Zaire you ready?"
"Yeah mama" they said in unison. Today was Christmas Day and we decided to go to the grocery store to make breakfast for everyone. It was the least we could do being we are in Summers household. She has done so much for my sons and I.
I grab the keys to the rental car and we made our way to Walmart. Being it was Christmas the stores opened early and closed early, so we wanted to be the first ones there in and out.
We reached Walmart and it was already a line.
"Damn this line long as hell." Dante said
"Boy what I tell you about cussing" I said
"Mama I'm grown."
"Oh word? Well buy ya own way back to school"
"Wait I ain't say all that chill"
"Yeah that's what I thought."
I parked the car and we got out the car. I turned my head to see Zaire ass still sleep.
"Get your ass up." I said then slapped his head softly.
"Dang mama you always tryna hit somebody." Zaire said
"Whatever come on" we got out the car and made our way in the line and eventually headed inside.
We got everything we needed and made
our way back to Summers house. It was only 7:30. We took out all the ingredients we needed and start bussin down.

It was so much cooking goin on we were literally throwing it down in the kitchen. I decided to take a small break and check on Jailah and the homies. I walked upstairs and headed to her room first. I quietly opened her door and her ass was knocked out. She looked to tired I walked in and decided to give her a lul kiss on the lips then head the Rod and Chris room.
I walked to the room to see if they was up so they could help too. I softly knock cause sometimes they be up early. Nobody answered so I open the door quietly. I peek my head in and I see Rod and Aaliyah in one bed and Chris and Ya'shay in the other. I laughed a little, these motherfuckers can't stay away from each other.
I shook my head and headed back down to help my mother.
Jailah
Damn it's bright asf. I said to myself. "I thought I told that boy to close my shades before he went to sleep." I need my shades closed at night cause I hate when the sun wakes me up, shit be bright asf.
As I'm waking up I feel around the bed and realize Dante isn't there next me. Now I'm definitely sad.
I get up go to the bathroom to brush my teeth to get ready for the day. I picked out. A little cute Christmas outfit and made sure all my gifts was wrapped. I did my makeup and decided to wake up Shay and Liyah. I walked in the room and these Mfs was still sleep cuddled up. Oh yeah I knew they snuck to sleep with these niggas who you think helped them do that 😂
"Y'all wake up! It's Christmas. Come help me cook."
"Mhmmmm Jay it's mad early." Liyah said softy
"Rod I know you up bro I saw you blink" I said laughing
"Mane what Jay it's dumb early."
"Merry Christmas Jay" Shay said getting up to hug me. Well someone was happy about Christmas with me.
"What you got in your hand?" Chris asked.
