I walked into the ALDC not sure what to expect. I stayed at Abby's house last night. I wasn't ready to face my mother because I knew I would be grounded.
When I went into the den there was no one in there. I headed over to my usual corner to put my bag down. But then I changed my mind.
I walked over to the other side of the den and plopped down in the corner that Chloe says is hers. I don't want to please her anymore, I want to do everything to annoy her.
So I sat in 'her' corner on my phone playing candy crush. Today is going to be better then yesterday. I'm going to dance because I want to, and I'll be brilliant doing it.
I heard voices coming toward the den. I recognised the voices to be Nia and Kendall. The door swung open and they walked in. They didn't notice me sitting in the corner.
They were both engrossed in a conversation. They were talking about my outburst yesterday. They walked over toward me but they still didn't notice me. Kendall then threw her bag at me.
"Hey, don't throw you dingy bag at me" I said shoving it onto the floor. Kendall and Nia both looked at me surprised. "Oh sorry Maddie, I didn't know you where there. It's just that this is usually-" "your corner" I finished for her.
"Yeah, but that's fine, we'll just sit somewhere else" She said. They turned around and walked over to the other side of the den. I'm not sure if Kendall was actually sorry or was being sarcastic. She did genuinely sound sorry.
I looked down at my phone again. For once I didn't feel like playing candy crush. I went on my Instagram and browsed through my news feed. Looks like my family had chocolate cake for dessert last night. Kenzie had put a photo up of her eating cake. I love chocolate cake.
Something heavy fell on me and my phone fell to the ground. "Get off of me Chloe" I said through gritted teeth. "Oh sorry, I was wondering why my seat was so comfy. That's right, your so fat that you are as comfy as a pillow" she said with her sweet innocent voice, even though she wasn't.
"I said get off of me" I yelled shoving her to the floor. She fell rather heavily and the room went silent. Chloe lay on the ground her body shaking slightly. Was she crying?
She raised her head in slow motion to reveal she had a blood nose. Her face was smeared in her blood. She slowly got up and picked up her bag trying to hold back the tears that slipped down her cheeks. "Madison, this isn't over" she said as she headed for the door.
"Whatever" I muttered under my breath. "Oh by the way, your sitting in my corner" she spat in my face spraying some blood on me. "I don't see a sign to say that it's yours" I said smiling at her.
"Now scurry along Chloe, this weeks dance isn't a vampire dance, that was last week." She gave out a little huff and walked out the door. I picked up my phone off the ground and sat back down next to my bag.
I pulled a tissue out from my bag and used my camera on my phone as a mirror. I cleaned off Chloe's blood. Mackenzie then walked in and spotted me.
She came over to me and sat down. "Hey Kenze, did you save a piece if cake for me" I said cheekily. "Moms really mad at you, you do know that don't you?" Mackenzie said. "Yeah, yeah I know. I'm gonna be grounded for the rest of my life. Speaking of mom where is she?" I asked curiously.
"Abby wanted to talk to her" she replied simply. Just then my mom walked into the den and spotted me and Mackenzie. She came over toward us. "Madison, I'd like to speak with you in private" she said quietly.
I got up and followed her out into the car park. I wonder how long I'm grounded for? I guess I'm about to find out.
A/N: I'm gonna end this chapter here. Comment how long you think Maddie will be grounded for.
2 comments 2 votes for more. I don't want it to take 10 days to get these like it did for the last chapter.
When I am writing I like to write at least a chapter every couple of days. When I have to wait it actually takes me longer to write the next chapter.
