"On the bottom of the pyramid is Maddie" Abby said pulling the piece of paper off to reveal my face. I knew I was going to be there, I didn't compete last week.

"You aren't feeling well so you didn't dance, there's nothing to judge you on" Abby explained. I nodded my head. She went to the next and ripped the piece of paper off to reveal Kendall's picture.

"Kendall, you nailed your duet with Mackenzie and it won. That was great but then you go and screw up the group dance" she yelled. "Someone could have gotten seriously hurt because of you" she finished yelling at her.

I looked across at Kendall with her watery eyes. A tear slips down her face and she looks over at her mother. "Save those tears for the pillow" Abby said loudly. "Moving on. Next on the pyramid is Chloe" she said as she pulled the piece of paper off Chloe's photo.

"You came third with your solo, your third on the pyramid. You blended in this week, nothing stood out to me as being good or bad" Abby said. She ripped off the next paper to show Nia's photo.

"Nia, you are second on the pyramid this week. You are here because you were able to quickly adapt to Kendall's mistake. When Mackenzie fell you caught her and improved to hide it. I'm proud of you Nia" Abby said. I looked over at Nia to see her with a beaming smile on her face.

"And on top of the pyramid is Mackenzie" Abby said whilst pulling the paper off her photo. We all clapped and I gave Mackenzie a hug. "Highest scoring solo of the whole competition. You were also able to adapt when you almost injured yourself on stage" Abby said.

I looked at Mackenzie to see she was smiling. "Now this week I have a solo going to Mackenzie. It's an lyrical routine called 'Out Of The Shadow.' Without Maddie dancing you are coming out of the shadows" Abby said.

"I have one more solo to give out this week" Abby said. "And that solo is going to Nia" she said. We all went over and gave Nia a hug because she rarely gets solos. "It is entitled 'Think Quick' and it is a fast paced jazz number" Abby finished explaining.

"Now the group dance this week is entitled 'Black Hole.' You will all be stars with one person being the black hole. As the routine goes on the starts slowly become a part of the black hole with only one star left" Abby explained.

This group dance sounds so cool, I really wish I was able to dance this week. "Now, I have already picked who our black hole is going to be" Abby told us. "Black hole, come on in" Abby yelled to the door.

The door opened and in walked Payton. Really, why is Payton here as well. She gave me a smirk that very quickly changed to a shocked look. She thought she had broken my foot but she actually didn't.

"Alright girls we'll start with the group dance, spread out and stretch. Mothers you are dismissed" Abby said. The girls spread out to stretch and I went out into the den. I grabbed my backpack and went up to the viewing room with the mothers.

I watched as the girls learnt the dance. It looked really cool, The starts always stuck to gather an then Payton would come running through and spread them all apart.

"Mom" I said turning around to face my mom. "Yes Maddie" my mom said. "Would we be able to go home before we go back to the hospital so I can get some of my things?" I asked.

"There won't be time after dance but we can go now if you want" she told me. "Alright" I said standing up and putting my backpack on my back. She got up and we went out to the car.

We traveled home in silence with only the sound of the rain that decided to appear. After a little while we pulled into our street. Mom pulled the car up into the driveway and we got out of the car.

I ran to the door forgetting about the pain in my ankles. Luckily they weren't that bad anymore. They only hurt a little bit. Mom unlocked the front door and I went up to my room.

I took the two DVDs I had already watched and left them on my desk. I went to my closet and got out a few sets of clothes and put them in my backpack.

I grabbed some hair ties and put them around my wrist. I went into the bathroom and put some of my makeup in my bag. I zipped up my bag and headed down stairs to fin my mom on the phone.

I went into the kitchen and got myself a drink of orange juice. I grab an apple from the fruit bowl and sit down at the table. Mom walks in and sits down opposite me.

"Who was on the phone?" I asked her. "It was the doctor, she wants you to go back to the hospital now" she says getting up holding her car keys."Why though, I'm perfectly fine" I groaned.

I finished my drink and put the up in the sink. "She didn't realise how late we were going to be. She's worried about you and does not permit you to be out any longer" she said.

"Fine, but I really don't think I still need to be at the hospital" I said picking my backpack up. I followed my mum out to the car.
