It was Saturday morning in which Kim Jisoo was still in her beauty sleep since it's was her day off. Favourite day among of all.
Ding dong!
The bell was ringing. She glance at the clock it was around 1 p.m. making her groaned. "Who is it?," she mumbled. The bell was pressed again. "Why the hell people just can let me live peacefully?," she stomped her feet to main door. "Who is it?," she asked while swung the door open revealing her parent with a wide mischievous grin on their faces.
"Good morning my lazy ass daughter," Sandara greeted as she stepped inside. "Mom it's Saturday!," she groaned as she closed the door back since both of her parent was already inside. "So, it's that an excuse to wake up late?," her mom shot back. "What bringing you guys here?," asked Jisoo trying to find a topic.
"Oh so now, we need an excuse to meet our own daughter?," Sandara sighed in annoyance. "Ungrateful child!," she murmured enough for Jisoo to heard her. "Mom that's now what I mean,"
"Well, that's how it sounds like?," Soo Hyun stopped the mother daughter little argument by bringing in their intentions. "Get ready Jisoo, we're going together to Seokjin's party,". Jisoo slapped herself on the forehead. "Oh chicken nugget! it's today!," she exclaimed. Sandara tsked at her daughter, "See what you've been missing if you let your laziness win over you? It's called Life!,". Jisoo and her mom relationship change a lot after she's in adulthood. They always bicker over every little things. "Enough," Soo Hyun spoke out, "Jisoo, get dressed. We'll be waiting," he continued. "Just go without me " said Jisoo making Sandara widen her eyes.
"This little... yah! don't be so lazy we've came all away from Busan to fetch you!," her mother once again started to nagged. "Fine! I'll get my ass done!," she said in defeated. Sandara hissed, "Look at your daughter! You've spoiled her too much," she said to her husband. "That's enough. We're too old to argue about that,".
As soon as Jisoo was done, they went straight to Seokjin place forgetting the little argument they had. "Are you sure this is place?," asked Soo Hyun to his daughter. "Well, that's what Seokjin send me," she took of the seatbelt before went out followed by her parent.
"Seokjin's house is so fancy," commented Sandara as her eyes was roaming at the front yard. Obviously, because the place he live in was for the rich resident. They waited for the door opened, "Aunt, Uncle! glad you guys make it! Come in come in," said Fay with full of happiness. "How are you dear?," Sandara asked while giving her a smooch on the cheek.
"I'm fine Aunt. How about you?,"
"Never been this great," Jisoo rolled her eyes thinking on how fake her mom can be. "Jisoo! Glad you came along too," she said as she just realised that Jisoo was with them.
She forced a smile to the innocent Fay. "Mom and Dad already inside with the rest," said Fay as she leading the way. "Is everyone here already? Are we late?," asked the shocked Sandara.
"No, you're just in time. There's still some guest will coming later. Sadly, not everyone are here, Jungkook can't make it since there's a little problem at the farm,"
"Oh no! Is it serious?," Jisoo glancing at Fay as she waited for an answer even she wasn't the one who asked. "Nothing serious, uncle.. everything was under control,"
All of them sit on the table enjoying themselves and talk about random things, but funny how it's not the same for Jisoo unlike the old time. Probably the main reasons why was because Jungkook wasn't around.
"Let me clean this up," Jisoo volunteer as the rest was heading to living room while Seokjin and Fay was welcoming their guest. Jisoo was spacing out while washing the dishes. "You miss me so much don't you?," the boy was sitting on the stool right beside the sink. Jisoo keep her straight face because she knows it's not the real man she missed.
It was just her mind. "Say it Jisoo, say that you missed me," he put his hand around her waist while his head on the top of her shoulder. "Get the fuck off from my head Jeon!," she turned to push away the imaginary Jungkook but a figure was stunned at the doorway.
The man mouth was wide opened with his eyes blinking. "Uncle Seojoon!," Jisoo stuttered. Damn, why do I always got into this type of scenario. "It's not what you think," she put her hand on her lips, "I'm sorry," she cried.
Seojoon laughed before went near to her and patted her head. "It's fine, don't think too much okay," he chuckled as he take the glass from the shelf and left the kitchen leaving the girl alone. Thus, the Imaginary Jungkook appear again from behind his father's back, giving her a wink. "You miss me, admit it,"
"Stupid Jungkook! It's all your fault!," she cursed.
"Why Kyungsoo didn't coming again?," asked Whee In to Nayeon once they met each other at the wedding venue. "He went to play golf with his friends," said Nayeon a little annoyed of matter of fact her husband ditched her for golf.
The three of them was sitting on the same table and eyes on the newlyweds. "I can't believe Taehyung married to the top model from Thailand," said Jisoo eyes on the stage. "What's her name again? Laila? Leeya? Leo?," Nayeon tried to remember.
"It's Lalisa," Whee In corrected her. Whee In was still overwhelmed, but she accepted the fate if it's wasn't mean to be. Beside, Taehyung and her are good friends after all. While Whee In and Nayeon was in the middle of a talk, Jisoo saw Jungkook's figure right besides the newlyweds for photos.
She shake her head, "It's been a week I've been day dreaming about him," she said to herself which caught her best friends attention. "You say something, Chu?,". Jisoo quickly turned to face them and plastered a smile. "I need to go to the washroom," she excused herself.
She washed her face and breathe out heavily. "What spell he put on me?," she asked her reflection. After a moment, she was ready to go back to the hall. On her way back, she stopped once the figure was in front of her but this time with a surprised look all over his face. "Hi, Jisoo," he greeted.
She sighed for the millionth time of her life, "You're not real," she said out loud. "Are you okay, Jisoo?," he asked sounds a little bit concern. "Stop appearing in my sight. You're not real!," she louder her voice.
"What are you talking about Jisoo?,"
"Wow, now you can answer me back,". Jungkook put his hand on her shoulder and the other hand checking her temperature on her forehead. "Great now your warmth touch feel so real," she mumbled, making him grinned.
"I'm day dreaming about you like I'm madly in love and it's driving me crazy," she told him while letting him to touched her. "Even this not real, but I miss you,I do miss you so much. There! I've said it. Now, please stop appearing inside my imagination,". Jungkook put his hands on her waist and look deeply into her eyes. "This is real, Jisoo,"
"Huh?,"
"This is not your 'delusional imagination'. I am real and this is real," he remarked making the girl looking at her with a blank stare. Without further a due, he leaned closer to her lips and give it a quick peck.
"Is that convincing?," he asked with the proud smile on his face.
