It was almost time. Her plan could almost be complete. She was sure she had captured the Doctor's feelings. All that was left was to ruin that annoying bunny girl by finishing what she started. However.... she felt a little guilt about what she was going to do next. It wasn't towards that girl, but towards Sirius. Somehow, it didn't seem fair to let him down like that after all she did to him. She wasn't sure what to do. The disturbed look on her face must have shown because W came to see her after a meeting.

"Talulah."

It had just been last night, but she already missed the Doctor say her name, even though she was reluctant to admitting it to herself. However, this wasn't Sirius. This was W in front of her. Trying for the usual cold look, she answered W.

"What is it? You didn't come here to have a nice chat with me, did you?"

"Oh don't be like that. You don't have to keep up with that look either. It's clear that you were distracted all day today. I decided to talk to you before the others start getting suspicious."

"Such kindness is unlike you. You usually taunt everyone and get on their nerves."

"Now now, don't be like that~ You know I have your best interests in mind~"

"And pray tell, what are those "interests"?"

"Seeing the Doctor again."

"What-"

"It's obvious. You want to see him again, but you're denying it."

"That's not it at all. I was using him for my means this whole time."

"Then why are you looking like depressive? Not that you weren't before, but it's more visible."

"You-!"

"All jokes aside, you know you can't see him anymore, right?"

"........"

"See? There it is. You're not acting like yourself. Everyone can see it, but they just don't know what."

"Silence. I have not the slightest clue of what you mean. I don't care what happens to the Doctor or of what happens to Rhodes Island. My goal remains the same."

"Fuee~"

"What?"

"This is so going to be so fun to watch~ You don't even realize it yet, do you?~"

"Realize what?"

"You love him."

"W- I- what?"

"It's truly tragic that you won't see it, perhaps the image of his rotting corpse in the battlefield would?"

"........"

Love? It wasn't. It couldn't be possible, but yet... the very image of him dying gave her an unpleasant feeling, like fear curling around her heart. At once, she gave a stony glare at W.

"Don't. If you mess with him, I'll personally end you myself."

"I wasn't planning on it, though that does seem like an amusing idea. But I told you, I'm on your side. I much rather see you get him. It'll be more entertaining that way. A forbidden love between two sides, especially leaders. It has me on the edge of my seat."

".....I have no idea what to do with you. I have no idea whether or not I can trust you."

"Heh~ I suppose you don't have much of a choice. But none of that matters now does it? The next battle will be a dangerous one. You know he is going out at the front lines."

".......that fool...does he honestly intend to-"

"You of all people should know how he is. So what will you do? Kill him yourself like in the tragic love stories?"

"Enough, W. You have overstayed your visit. I suggest you leave before you end up as a pile of ashes and disappear."

W gave a small chuckle and leaned on a pillar. Talulah gave her an annoyed look and drew her sword at her, showing that she was serious. W spoke up again.

"Ooh scary~ I was just teasing though, don't worry. But in all seriousness, you know what has to happen right? You've had your fun, but it's time you put an end to it."

"I know. And I will do so. Now leave."

"Always such a killjoy, but I'll take my leave so that you may grieve in peace. W out~"

W turned and walked out of the room with a smirk. Once she was gone, Talulah went to her own private quarters and sat down on her bed and gave a sigh. A very tired one. She put her hand on her forehead and waited a while, trying to keep down what she felt. She then looked out the window and thought about what she really felt. Was it really love? Or was it just curiosity? She made up her mind then. W was right. If she really were just curious, then she wouldn't have minded or even paid the slightest attention to W talking about his potential death. She would have just moved on and found something else. She knew she had lost the chance to say it to him. The next time they would see each other would be in battle, where she was going to have her supposed victory and kill them all. But was that what she really wanted now? Or did she need more than just that? Looking out the window, she made a promise to herself.

"Where ever you end up, Sirius, I'll make sure I see you again."

Feeling tired and not in a mood to do anything else, she lays on her bed, hoping that he would remain safe.

Author's note:

Warfarin: I know it's getting a little boring, but please bear with it! And I apologize for the lack of chapters! I've just broke my mouse...and part of my computer...and it's lowered my morale a bit.
Ayame: This is what happens when we don't get paid. If only we had sponsors.
Warfarin: I am fairly new to this, but are sponsors even a thing on Wattpad?
Ayame: Heck if I should know. All I know is that I'm doing work that I'm not getting paid for.
Warfarin: On the bright side, there are no deadlines!

Ta-chan pokes her head out from behind a wall and pokes her sword at Warfarin's back.

Warfarin: Ow! What the actual-
Ayame: Language, we have kids reading this.
Warfarin: But I labeled it as 18+ though...
Ayame: That doesn't stop people, does it now?
Warfarin: I suppose so..
Shu: So what happens when it becomes nsfw?
Warfarin: Uhh..that's not my problem anymore.
Ta-chan: You die, that's what. [Uses the TexasDumb emote from the discord server]
Warfarin: ......I'm getting outta here, she's crazy!

The usual stuff happens and the scene fades to black.

Ayame: You can't just end it like that.
Warfarin: Yes I can. I've done it like that for the past few chapters!
Ayame: Let me end it this time then.
Warfarin: Fine. I'll get going then.

Ayame: Psst! Guys! Did you know I actually get paid more than her?
Warfarin: ....

Scene actually fades to black, indicating that something has regrettably happened to Ayame.
