Sirius didn't feel too well. He had been on this road trip for quite some time now. When he had finally reached Ægir, he sighed with relief and got out from the car as quick as possible. Long distance drives were not his thing. Most definitely. If he had to escape from some other crazy facility, a car would be the last thing he took. He walked towards a tree and leaned against it, trying to calm his nauseousness. A long distance car ride or being captured by an organization? That was an easy decision."Never...again..."
Talulah smirked, seeing his expression and remembered that he was was also like that in the past before he lost his memories. Taking his hand in hers, she offered him a confident smile, despite the dire situation they were in. Seeing her smile, he tried to return it and compose himself. She was being brave to not make everyone else nervous, but that didn't mean she didn't need a shoulder to lean on.
"Thanks...Talulah.."
"Don't worry about it, Sirius. What should we do next?"
"I'm not sure.. all he said was that we should meet here. He didn't specify where in Ægir or when."
"We should start looking for shelter at the moment, since we'll probably have a long wait. He is traveling by foot, after all."
".....I forgot. How long would it take to go from where Rhodes was to Ægir? We weren't that far off.. Noc and Yokai did have ties to people that got us here quickly. However..."
Sirius took a look at Yokai, who had been listening into their conversation. He took a moment to think and calculate how long the trip would take without any calculations and came up with the best guess he could.
"A few weeks or so at best?"
"..........."
This made Sirius blink. A few weeks?! How were they supposed to hold on for that long?! They hadn't even packed up for a trip as long as a week, much less, a day. Even if Noc and Yokai had connections, he doubted that they would be able to get all the necessities they needed to last that long. He looked at Talulah to see if she knew anything about this, since Akise did say something to her before she left.
"So....Talulah... do you know anything about it?"
"Come to think of it...we did all go to this Ægirian restaurant before... did he mean the one down the block of where we used to be?"
"...........Please tell me you're joking."
"............"
"A-at least say something!"
"But..what if he did mean that place..? It's also a pretty quiet restuarant too, great for hiding..."
"......"
Sirius sighed, now seriously concerned. Couldn't....Akise have been a little more specific? Now they were stuck here not knowing what they should be doing. Just as he leaned on the tree to think for a bit, he heard a rustling above him. Confused, he looked up...and saw Akise. He blinked a few times, not believing it. However, when he finally believed he wasn't seeing things, he quickly scrambled back with a yelp of surprise.
"Eh..? EHHHHH?!"
The others looked at Sirius and wondered what was going on. The rushed to his defense ready to take on the assailant. Chuckling, Akise hopped down from the tree with his hands up to show that he was unarmed. That took the others aback. How...how did he get here? There was no way unless...he had better connections than Yokai and Noctis? That had to be the only answer. It took them quite a while even with them knowing people, but Akise must've had someone directly bring him here. Who could it be?
