"Doctor! Welcome back!"

Those were the words of Amiya, who cried with joy when she saw him return at the entrance of Rhodes Island. Apparently, he had been listed among the list of casualties in the previous battle due to his absence. His return only seemed to make him more famous among the Rhodes Island operators. When he turned to look at Dr. Kal'tsit, she seemed to have a relieved look as well, but he noticed she had bags under her eyes. Of course, no one could see the expression under his mask, but he wasn't smiling despite returning back to the safety of Rhodes Island. This place now felt different to him. It was... where all his memory loss began. On his way here, he still hadn't remembered much about her or what his relationship with her was. All he did know was that she was involved with him losing his memories. Just who was this woman who had interfered so much with his life?

"Thank you, Amiya. If it weren't for Noctis, Yokai, and Exusiai, I wouldn't have been able to find my way back here. Before I'm back in action, I have a few things to do."

Amiya nodded and moved back to let the others have a chance to talk to him. It was the usual rowdy bunch, but he only needed to speak to one person right now. That was to be Dr. Kal'tsit. He decided to speak up before he had to wait a long time later.

"Dr. Kal'tsit, may I meet you at your office? I have a few things to discuss. I found out a few important things while I was missing and it is urgent I speak to you about it right away."

Dr. Kal'tsit look surprised, since it was usually her that would call him into her office, and not the other way around. There was a moment of silence from her and all the other Operators quieted down. She nodded curtly and turned to walk away to her office with the others going back to work after patting him in the back. Sirius sighed and steeled himself before following Dr. Kal'tsit into her office.

In Dr. Kal'tsit's Office...

There was silence when he walked in, which made it awkward for him. What was he supposed to say? Obviously not that he had been at a rendevous with the leader of the Reunion and did things with her. He took a deep breath while racking his mind for ideas of what to tell Dr. Kal'tsit. Turns out, he didn't need to since she spoke first.

"I'm glad you're back safe, Sirius. I hope you will be able to go back to work soon and do your job as usual. Is there something you wanted to say to me?"

"Er- Yes. I want to know more about what had happened before I lost my memory."

There was a pause, as if she was trying to figure out what he was going to gain by knowing something he had brushed off or didn't pay attention to back then. She spoke carefully, as if to not imply anything.

"You seem to have been captured by the Reunion. Did they say anything to you?"

"....No. Not really. They just kidnapped me and were about to execute me before Yokai and Noctis rescued me."

That part was at least true. He had been kidnapped by the Reunion and saved by Sun and Yokai, but he left out the part about Talulah and his memories. Talulah... hopefully, she was still sleeping and freaking out. He pushed that thought away and focused at the thing at hand. The words Dr. Kal'tsit said next made him focus on the topic.

"Don't listen to a word they say. They tried to kill you after all. If they did say something, it was probably to manipulate you."

".........."

Sirius remained silent, steeling himself once more to say the words he had planned to say the whole way here from the place with Talulah. He couldn't sit here and be lied to forever by Kal'tsit, even if it was for him. He looked her in the eye and spoke.
