This chapter is where the story really takes off so please don't hate me.

The ride home was quick. I hadn't said a word to any of the guys the entire drive and I could tell they were afraid to ask me if I was okay. My blood was boiling, and I wanted to take a shower so I could go to bed. When I pulled up to the hotel, I tossed the valet my keys, not even caring at that point. Jah grabbed my hand as we walked into the quiet lobby. My steps slowed slightly and I looked at him.

"I know they're not gonna agree, but you're so hot when you're deflecting the hoes." Jahmil whispered while slinging his arm over my shoulder.

I burst into laughter and placed a quick kiss on his cheek. We made our way to our separate rooms. The moment I stepped foot into our hotel room, I began to peel my sticky clothes from my body. Jah turned the shower on for me and I watched him shuffle through my bag for my pajamas. He slung them over his arm before looking up at me briefly.

"Get in the shower and wash that stuff out of your hair, please. I'll bring your clothes in the bathroom for you," Jah waved me out of the room.

I smiled and did as he said. The warm water washed away the stickiness from my hair and skin. I was pretty upset that my hair hadn't even made it to the waterpark, so I would have to do it again tonight. Maybe I would be able to convince Trevor and Brent to help me braid it up before they went to sleep. My thoughts had become so wrapped up in my hair that I forgot how late it was.

When I was finally able to pull myself out of the shower, it was almost 3 am and the boys wouldn't be able to help me out. I slipped the shorts and t-shirt Jah left out for me and squeezed the water out of my hair the best I could. A couple of drops of water trailed down the back of my neck. The bathroom door swung open as I was running leave-in-conditioner through my hair. An exhausted Jah stood shirtless at the door with a pack of scrunchies in his hand.

"Babe? Why aren't you sleeping?" I giggled, watching him rub his eyes.

He yawned a little before walking over to me, "you need help right? Let me help you. We braiding it?"

I swooned internally before nodding. He pushed me lightly towards the toilet seat and grabbed a section of my damp hair. I watched through the mirror as he picked up the Denman brush and brushed my hair from tip to root, slowly working through any tangles. He held sections of my hair awkwardly for a while with his face scrunched in concentration.

"Bae, how I do this again?"

I gently pulled my hair from his hands and threw it into a quick bun. At that moment, I wasn't worried about the state of my hair anymore, but I wanted to show Jah how much I appreciated his efforts. We woke up early the next morning and I showed him how to cornrow my hair without pulling out my hair or braiding too tight. Once we were finished and all packed, we headed downstairs to pack our bags in the car. I sent a quick text to the guys asking them what they wanted for breakfast while Jah and I took a quick trip to the nearest Starbucks.

We sat in the drive thru line rapping along to Nicki Minaj when Jah stopped the music and looked me in my eyes. I was about to ask what was wrong when he leaned in and captured my lips with his. His tongue danced with mine until we heard a horn beep loudly behind us. My cheeks heated up and I looked away. We ordered everyone's food quickly, joking with the barista who seemed to be having a rough morning. I slipped her a $20 before we pulled off to try to brighten her day.

"You know, I think you're the most beautiful girl in the world." Jahmil flirted. He tugged on one of my braids and I mushed his head.

"Make me beat you up in this car. Let's go get our friends." I smiled.
