My lips speak one thing
But my heart screams another.
I miss the way you said my name,
But it's time I looked further. You never knew how I truly felt,
So you played your games.
Even though you hurt me bad,
I still feel the butterflies when I hear your name. They say I'm crazy,
That I should let you go,
That I should move past it.
If only I could let you know,
You're always on my mind.
I hope to see you again one day,
And maybe sometime in the distant future,
You'll tell me you feel the same way.

I wrote this just today. I was reminded of someone in my past and it really got me down.So I decided to write it all down. And now I feel much better.
I know that everyone of us has a secret that we wish to tell that one particular person.
We all have things locked up inside. We don't express them because we're scared. We're scared of what will happen if we do let it out. We're scared that if we express it, we'll come to realise that the things we feared have come true. We're scared that no one will understand. We're scared because we think people will see it as a weakness. We're scared because we don't want others to pity us.
But if we don't let it out, then we end up with a lot of questions and a lot of regret.
And the only thing worse than hurting over something we did, is regretting something we never did.
